She walked me through the process providing me with all the information. She was truly a pleasure to work with. My car is great condition & I would recommend this dealer to all of my friends & family. I will only work with Heidi Stamm in the future for any service on my vehicle. More
Don't trust this service department We took our 2010 Fusion in to Maplecrest to have a new key made. We inadvertently failed to check the "I authorize the work." So they didn't do it. We took our 2010 Fusion in to Maplecrest to have a new key made. We inadvertently failed to check the "I authorize the work." So they didn't do it. Nor call us to ask if we wanted the work done (despite the fact we had made the appointment for this very purpose). Had we not called the next day (near closing) to ask if it is ready they would have never done the work. But it gets worse: Without our asking the did an inspection and reported a number of things including the "fact" that our coolant was empty and we needed a coolant flush ($299) and that our break linings we're getting thin. When I got the car home I found that the coolant levels were just fine. I did some research and learned that a coolant flush is mostly a bogus service. Worse, I took the car to my independent repair facility who check the break linings and reported that they were "nearly new." Do not patronize these crooks. More
SERVICE DEPARTMENT LIES My 2013 Fusion was recalled for defective seat backs. I made an appointment for the repair and some minor warranty issues a week prior. When I arriv My 2013 Fusion was recalled for defective seat backs. I made an appointment for the repair and some minor warranty issues a week prior. When I arrived at the service department, there was no record of the appointment. i was assured the work would take less than one day. I called in the afternoon, and was told it would be done in 15 minutes. Arrived a half hour later, and the car was on a "road test". Pretty strange, since the repairs were supposed to be the seats, seat belt, and overhead interior handles. When I asked if everything was done i was told they needed the car for two more full days. They (two people talking to me at once) said the recall was for software update (LIE). It was for defective seat backs (and Ford's website confirms this). They would not return my recall letter from Ford, which stated that the recall was eat backs. So after a full day at Maplecrest Ford, NOTHING was done, they lied that software was updated, the recalled seat backs weren't fixed, and the handles weren't touched. I'm looking for a non-lying dealer to do the recall. I filed a complaint with Ford too. Dealers add absolutely no value to your car, which is why I bought from Avis. No haggling, $1,000 less than Kelly Blue Book, no hassles! THAT I recommend. More

This dealer had the odacity to say that they serviced my truck. I brought it in for a scheduled oil changed. I actually provided the Mobil 1 synthetic oil for them to install it in my truck. I had been gett truck. I brought it in for a scheduled oil changed. I actually provided the Mobil 1 synthetic oil for them to install it in my truck. I had been getting pretty bad mileage over the last few weeks, so I investigated and checked my oil just for kicks. When I pulled out the oil dipstick I could not believe my eyes. After 2800 miles after the change my oil was dirtier than when I brought the vehicle in for service. I am pretty positive they chahged it for the cheapest oil they had at the time. Ford does not want to hold anyone responsible for this, so I am done with this bunch of dishonest, nasty attitude dealer. Don't go there, my coworker has a Lincoln MKZ and there is an issue with her used vehicle, except that the dealer keeps on giving her an incredibly hard time. Stay away!!! More
I have brought my 2004 Ford Freestar in for service for several years now. At the present time, I am extremely dissatisfied with the Service Department because of repetitive misdiagnoses which have cost m several years now. At the present time, I am extremely dissatisfied with the Service Department because of repetitive misdiagnoses which have cost me thousands of dollars in the past three (3) MONTHS alone. I brought in my minivan in early summer 2012 because of a torque converter recall. My minivan was absolutely fine up to that point. No problems. But as there was a recall in effect, I brought my Freestar to Maplecrest Ford of Union for them to perform the service. I regret that day and am still paying for it. The torque converter was replaced. Since that day, my minivan has never been the same. I brought it baack to Maplecrest three times over the next several months because my transmission would not engage properly. Each time I brought it in, my van was serviced and was told the problem was fixed. Finally, in September 2012, just three months ago, my minivan would not engage at all. I had to have the minivan towed to Maplecrest. After several days I was told I needed a transmission, at a price of over $3000.00. I was furious because my van had absolutely no problems with the transmission prior to the torque converter recall. Last week, while on a NY highway, my minivan just stopped. Would not continue in drive. I had to have it towed once again to Maplecrest. Today I am told by the service manager that my computer system is bad and because of that, my transmission is not receiving correct signals. Well if that was the problem to begin with, why did Maplecrest Ford charge me over $3,000.00 for a new transmission three months ago? This "new" problem will cost me over $1000.00. I refuse to pay it because I unnecessarily put in a transmission just three months ago when I didn't need one. The problem was always the computer. I asked to speak with Mr. Steve Giordano, the owner, and was told nobody has any way to contact him. What??? I never heard of such a thing. If I could know when he visits his dealership, I would love for him to review my service records in my presence. Somebody has to be held accountable at Ford. If I have to go to corporate, I am prepared to. I am just devastated and emotionally drained over this experience. My minivan is still at Maplecrest (7 days today) and still no resolution. More
A year after I bought my car Cassandra called to make sure everything remained good with my car. Which is unheard of around my way. I actually needed my car detailed and though my salesman was no longer sure everything remained good with my car. Which is unheard of around my way. I actually needed my car detailed and though my salesman was no longer there Cassandra was able to get me in for an appointment. Overall, I had a great experience at Maplecrest of Union. I highly recommend them, not only do they offer deals that benefit the customers, but most importantly they respect and care about the customers. More
I needed to have some work done on my car and I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about how to fix it myself or what should be a priority on maintaining it. The people here in Maplecrests Service Department were ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about how to fix it myself or what should be a priority on maintaining it. The people here in Maplecrests Service Department were so friendly. They were willing to work with me and explain to me what I needed in terms that I could understand. That meant a lot to me, its nice to get some mechanics who don't just try to take your money without telling you where its going. I would recommend this place to ANYBODY who has ever felt like me. On my 3rd Lincoln. Very happy with servcice dept. Had only one bad experience since 1986, and that clown was fired (eventually). Jim, Pete & Mike in service and Dave in parts along with many of the tech only one bad experience since 1986, and that clown was fired (eventually). Jim, Pete & Mike in service and Dave in parts along with many of the technicians are excellent. They really do listen to you. Their bodyshop located in Maplewood having recently moved from summit is #1 AAA THE BEST body shop in New Jersey! Nobody can match paint like Alex ! A Picasso for damaged cars. I buy them from Jack Kelly. He treats me okay. I've owned over 30 cars in my life, the BEST were the 1960s & 1970s (Chrysler) IMPERIALS, but since their demise in 1978, the Lincoln is tops. Terrific Build Quality, and ultra comfortable, youDO get what ya pay for! More
