I was prepared with an "I'm just looking" response so I could select a vehicle without a pushy car salesman present. Tom is the opposite of pushy. He was warm, friendly and genuinely interested in my vehicle needs, asking questions until he got a sense of the features and color I wanted. He located the exact vehicle I was looking for and I'm so pleased with my purchase. My experience didn't stop there, though. Maplewood Toyota's reputation for fantastic customer service is not an exaggeration, which I've experienced during every maintenance appointment. These guys and gals are very good! You go to a car dealer a few weeks after you buy a car and you hear..."and you are?". Not at Maplewood Toyota. The employees there seem to be treated well by the owners and managers so it is not surprising that the sales and service employees treat customers well. I just attended a dinner/presentation and the presenters and everyone associated on the team were great. Genuine, credible, and down to earth. We have two Toyotas purchased here and wouldn't consider going anywhere else for service or the next purchase. We told him we were looking for a midsize passenger vehicle.He suggested the Camry and We are very lucky to have met Mabi Ekiyor at Maplewood Toyota. But what I thought was awesome is the kindness he showed us and treated with respect. He went as far as brought the car to the front and drove the trade in from our house to the dealership. Who does that?! I am such in awe and wonder of the customer service we received from him. God bless him always. That company should feel blessed and honor to have him as a employee there.
