Vehicle was going into low power mode under acceleration. Made an appointment, they blew it off for two days, then called me to say it was low on oil but didn’t know why. Proceeded to grill me in an accusato Made an appointment, they blew it off for two days, then called me to say it was low on oil but didn’t know why. Proceeded to grill me in an accusatory manner implying I didn’t have the vehicle serviced at the appropriate interval or had done something else to the vehicle. BTW, they told me the oil life and air filter was at 0%. Not true! Air filter was at 55% the day I got it back! Oil life was at 30% the week before I took it in. They proceeded to string me along for two weeks with no answers. Finally, they called and said GM was sending in a traveling engineer to assess the oil loss. Then it dawned on me…. This new vehicle only on its 3rd oil change did not leak or burn, the GM dealer simply didn’t put in enough oil last time they changed it. I asked if they considered that could be the reason. They said yes. But never did they ever mention that to me before I brought it up. Instead they said they still had no idea why it was low. Dishonest and only out to up sell you on services you do not need. Overwhelmed with work and didn’t offer a loaner until two weeks into the whole debacle! If you want customer service don’t go to Mark Christopher! More
