At some dealerships after the purchase the car you never hear from the sales consultant. Edwin will check on you a few days later to make sure that everything is alright with your purchase and to see if there is anyway he can assist or answer any questions concerning the vehicle purchased. Buying a new Truck with Jay Bazooband Our family has frequented the Durham Toyota Dealership for some time, 20 plus years. We've had a relationship with them. We have four Toyotas and now Our family has frequented the Durham Toyota Dealership for some time, 20 plus years. We've had a relationship with them. We have four Toyotas and now a fifth! The oldest has 345,000 miles on it. I'd been thinking about a Tacoma Truck and finally realized, since they hold their value so well, might as well buy a new one. I asked for one of most experienced Salespeople. I kept getting pointed towards Jay Bazooband. Jay showed me the older 2015, but I wanted the 2016 because Toyota upgraded the model, new engine, transmission, interior, and fixed/changed a lot of things from the 2005-2015 models. I visited, called, texted, e-mailed Jay many times. He always had a smile and was willing to help. He helped me get a good fair deal I believe and we ordered what we wanted. Because of my great experience with this dealership over the years, we contacted them about finding a replacement vehicle similar to the one we lost. Anthony Parker recommended a very nice vehicle, he was courteous and considerate while we evaluated the car, and we purchased it within a day. Mr. Parker is a fine person with the highest integrity, and I couldn't be more pleased with him and Mark Jacobson Toyota. The only problem is that with the high level of service, I am completely spoiled and I probably would not consider purchasing a vehicle from any other dealer. More

I'm very pragmatic and I had done my homework ahead of time. I knew what I wanted to pay, but I was in no rush to buy a car. Shawn was very friendly and professional (so was Herbie Nelson in Finance), and I feel confident that the price paid was fair to both parties. I also really enjoy and appreciate that the lifetime warranty was included. When I bought a car for my wife several years ago from another local Toyota dealership, I was essentially strong-armed into buying an expensive warranty and fear was the primary tactic used to sell it (it was a used Prius, and they gave me the line about the hybrid battery being so expensive to replace should it fail). That tactic tainted the overall buying experience at this other dealership, and my eyes have now been opened to how greedy, unnecessary and underhanded it was. I'll also say this, the day that I bought the car from MJT was nasty and raining. When I returned to give them the title for my trade-in a few days later, they detailed the car and the inventory manager (his name eludes me) even went so far as to top off my gas. Top marks for that level of customer service! So to close, you should feel good about buying a car from this dealership. TL:DR - They don't rip you off. I love this dealership because not only is the selection remarkable, they do not try to sell you on products that you do not need. We looked at new cars originally and when nothing immediately caught my eye, he didn't try to pressure me into making a purchase that I wouldn't be satisfied with. We then went over to the used car lot where the selection blew me away. I happened to find the car of my dreams on that lot and it was love at first sight. It was so uncommon to be treated like a friend being helped by another friend rather than being preyed on by a vulture. I would recommend this staff to anyone buying a car, new or used. The selection is unbeatable and the service that you receive is incomparable. They have even checked up on me periodically just to make sure that I was happy with my decision. Mark Jacobson seems to only hire guys with great morals and high ethical standards. 5 Star experience!! More
