Didn't honor Warranty; Lied about work needed. I had brakes repaired on my truck a few years back. Last year, I took my truck in for an oil change, and Jimmy Veuleman told me that I needed brakes. I had brakes repaired on my truck a few years back. Last year, I took my truck in for an oil change, and Jimmy Veuleman told me that I needed brakes. I told Jimmy Veuleman that I just had my brakes done and they should be under warranty. Jimmy Veuleman did see where they were supposed to be under warranty. Jimmy Veuleman told me to bring my truck back with an original copy of my receipt. I asked if the receipt was not in their system. Jimmy Veuleman said it was, but that I had to have my original receipt for warranty work. I took my truck in to have the work completed, but I forgot my original receipt. Jimmy Veuleman called me and told me that I had to have my original receipt before they could start the work. I went home on my lunch break to get the receipt, and I took it to Jimmy Veuleman. Jimmy Veuleman told me that someone else had showed him how to find the original receipt in their system. So he didn't need my original receipt after I had left work in Little Rock, drove to Sherwood to get the receipt, and took it to the dealership. Later that day, Jimmy Veuleman called me and said that my calipers had gone bad, and my rotors were destroyed. Jimmy Veuleman said that because of that, he couldn't warranty my brakes. Jimmy Veuleman said the repair would cost $1100. I told Jimmy Veuleman to finish the rear brakes that weren't under warranty, and I would pick up my truck later. I payed for the rear brake repair, and I took my truck in for a second opinion. Discount Tire and Brake in North Little Rock told me that I simply needed brake pads and my rotors turned. I asked if the calipers were bad. They asked why would I ask that and if i had noticed the brakes sticking. I said no, and that a Jimmy Veuleman at a dealership told me that. He said he would reinspect the calipers to insure they were working properly. They were fine. So in order to renege my warranty, Jimmy Veuleman lied about additional work needing to be completed. More
