We were extremely pleased with Greg Morgan and Kris Stedman. We started out with Kris, the Internet Salesman, but ended up with Greg and could not have been happier! Greg came out immediately when I stopped in the first time, and after I stated "we were working with Kris", Greg said he was just there to help out and answer any questions while Kris was busy with a customer. When we returned a few days later it was Greg who was right there and went on the test drives with us. We were greeted by friendly staff at Marshall Mize when we first began looking at vehicles. They were courteous, friendly and helpful without being pushing or forceful. The finance department was very helpful, giving us fair trade in value on the car we traded in. All of our experience at Marshall Mize was excellent. Went to dealership to look and see what they had on the lot not knowing they had a jeep. We were approached right at the beginning and asked for Patrick and he was out of town. Kevin offered to show us around and even sell us a car for Patrick since we knew him. Kevin gave us great service and sold us our Jeep. I had to call Patrick and see if he could locate a owners manual for the car and he said he would have one to me in a week. Both salesman have been wonderful to deal with and I would recommend anyone to go buy a car from either salesman. More
I had experienced horrific customer service at Larry Hill Ford and arrived at Marshal Mize defeated and upset. Dylan immediately put me at ease and Eddie went out of his way to make me feel better. They checked in and kept me updated through the whole process. They have won a lifelong customer and I've told everyone about the excellent customer service. F350 truck was towed to Marshal Mize under warranty. Service department at Marshal Mize informed Ford Motors that my husband was reponsible for the rear axle breaking. Frank was hauling our John Deere tractor that weighs 3480 pds on a straight paved road. We had a witness to the incident. Marshal Mize refused to contact the witness. Ford Motor then denied the claim. We went to pick up some keys that were in the truck and service placed all the bearings in a box in the back of the truck and it rained 1 1/2 inches. That was very careless and unprofessional. These parts should have been placed in the cab. Then we decided to tow the truck to Mtn View Ford. Marshal Mize Ford was being very difficult with the tow truck driver. It took him 1 1/2 hours to get the truck. The service department at MTN View Ford states that there was an issue with the bearings. It should have been covered under the warranty. Estimated cost to fix is about $2800. My husband tried to discuss the issue with the owner and he just ignored him. We have purchased two trucks from Marshal Mize in the past 3 years. Never again! The only person that was professional and friendly at Marshal Mize Ford was our original salesperson, Eddie Owensby. He's a great guy. More
Right from the start my experience was different compared to the other dealership in town. Patrick immediatly took me over to the truck area and showed me the various options that were available and we were to the other dealership in town. Across town we spent 30 mins there and I had to basically push and urge the salesman to go and get answers to my questions. We left not looking at a single vehicle. I was looking for a specific Ford Raptor in my local market in Olive branch , MS. They informed me that unless I ordered the vehicle they would not be able to get it as I wanted. I searched dealer inventory on line and learned that my vehicle might be available in Chatanooga. After a request I learned that the vehicle had an estimated arrival date of Feb 2014. Dylan told me he would contact me when it arrived. Luckily the vehicle hit your lot on New Years Eve and and I got a call the day after New Years. I made plans to travel after a tentative value for my trade was arranged. My duaghter and I were able to drive the truck and while we were waiting on paperwork, Dan Bastnagel and I recounted that he was a prior patient of mine in Olive Branch and this conversation kept us entertained while the transaction was completed. It was a great experience! I did pay more than I had hoped for the vehicle but got exactly what I wanted. In the end I was happy that I made the 400 mile trip to get my awesome Raptor! I have recommended Danny and Marshall Mize when asked about the Ford Raptor I purchased in 2011. In addition to Danny, Dan and Thad from sales have been very helpful. It is very comforting to walk in to the showroom and three people can call you by your name! I will continue to use Marshall Mize and Danny Watkins, Thad and Dan in helping choose my next vehicle. I started off looking at several different dealerships on line from various manufacturers and had sent email questions to 3 different dealerships describing my interests. 2 of the dealerships were Ford and t line from various manufacturers and had sent email questions to 3 different dealerships describing my interests. 2 of the dealerships were Ford and the third was Dodge. I emailed all 3 around the same time 6pm Monday night. I knew it was after hours and honestly did not expect to here from any one until the next afternoon. I had an email from Marshal Mize early the next morning giving me some good info about the inquiry made the night before and I had asked a technical question. Dylan was the first responder to my question. I would also like to say that I was impressed that not only did he answer my question but he did it without using some high pressure sales pitch. I then was messages by Kevin the internet sales manager once again not to add pressure or a sales pitch but just to ensure I was receiving great customer service. I was originally going to use my bank to finance the new truck which was taking longer than it should have. At this point after talking to Kevin he said that he could find out the banks rate for me so I agreed. Within 30 Kevin messages me to let me know that everything was approved. So I asked " What's next?" Kevin said " come pick up your truck". After arriving at the shop where Chris and Kevin were waiting for me they did a great job showing around the truck and ensuring it was clean and ready to go. Ray did a great job going over the financing options and ensuring I had no questions. This was the least stressful and satisfying vehicle purchase I have ever had. I am a manager for Home Depot so I know what great customer service is......So do the associates at Marshal Mize Ford. More
