Salesman, while very friendly and personable said we were getting 3.99% financing through Honda Motor Credit. When came in for paperwork he said they were able to get 3.49%. When we met with finance person getting 3.99% financing through Honda Motor Credit. When came in for paperwork he said they were able to get 3.49%. When we met with finance person they said it was 3.74% with a no-name bank from Minnesota. Having financed with Honda Motor Credit twice before that was preferred, but the 3.74% was lower than my own so it was OK Originally found car on web site, called On-Line sales and was told did not know status. so when we came in did not know what was actually available. Price listed on web site was marked up by dealer but when asked, could not get a breakdown on what the mark-up consisted of and why. Approx 5-6K above MSRP. I just guessed it was do to car availability like other dealers we visited. Was told by salesman that we got free annual Inspection for the car we were buying. When I asked Finance person for confirmation he said we only go the mechanical inspection for free. The Emissions was a federal program. I did not argue, but the emissions program is a state program to comply with Federal, so by saying the free state inspection for life we owned car should include the emissions. More
