Firstly, I find it very hard to believe that the positive reviews for this dealership are genuine. I have never experienced such an unprofessional business in my life. I purchased and took delivery of what I believed to be a CPO Maserati on November 12, 2023. I live in Cape Cod but found the car I was looking for at Bergen Maserati in New Jersey. I traded in my last Maserati during the purchase. To date, the dealership has not paid off my trade in, they have still not registered my new car and countless emails, texts, and phone calls to the manager are ignored and unanswered. I've been trying to deal with the manager as the person who sold me the car ( who I found out was really the finance manager) has been missing since the day after I bought the car. Zero return correspondence. This is the most inept manager I've ever experienced. I own my own businesses and can't believe this guy even has a job. And shame on Maserati for allowing this franchise to exist. Is it really that hard to return a phone call, text, email? And where s the customer service after making such a large purchase? This is the complete opposite of any car I've ever bought- Almost to the point that I think I'm being punk'd. My car is currently at the dealership undergoing repairs that should've been done before the car ever left the lot being CPO - I will be filing complaints with Maserati and the state of NJ- And can't wait to get back to my regular Maserati dealer in Boston. The service area was clean and the mechanics were courteous and presentable. Unfortunately, they charged me about 2 or 3 times the amount for a non-intensive oil change and check over (it was actuall courteous and presentable. Unfortunately, they charged me about 2 or 3 times the amount for a non-intensive oil change and check over (it was actually my first oil change and I bought the car new). The service was done so I paid it and started looking for alternatives. However, when I had an issue with the TPMS (likely dead battery on one) and asked about some details of the sensor, the person I spoke with guarded it like it was KFC's secret recipe. Guess what, I knew what brands they used but was just trying to narrow it down for research purposes and ready a potential replacement before removing a tire at a shop and finding out their sensors won't be compatible. As a car guy, I do like learning about my vehicles. The reluctance of helping an owner for a simple part is a deal breaker. In all my years and various ownerships/brands, this is the first time that a service/parts dept was evasive about a part. It makes me wonder about the tactics of an organization which also makes me lose confidence in them. Thus, I started taking my service business to the dealer on Rt10. Maybe the staff has changed since but I'm satisfied with my current center now. This also means I'll likely not buy from their sales anytime soon. More
