Doug Potter was the best saleman that I have come across in a long time, he knows his cars, and help me get the one that was best for me. I was not sure if I was going over or not as I have had some bad tim in a long time, he knows his cars, and help me get the one that was best for me. They did a great job and nearly 4 hours later I drove safely home in Greenberry Hills. I have had several Fords over the years but Made a better financial deal last time so have the Pontiac. I was treated with kindness and concern by your employees when this was an unscheduled problem on a Sat. afternoon. They are outstanding men and I wish for you to know in management how fortunate you are to have them in your company. I just bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE from Massey Hyundai in Hagerstown. I had done my research on this car and negotiated with several dealers before accepting the offer from Massey, I know what I Hyundai in Hagerstown. The Internet Sales Manager, Ashley Stahle, and the In-Store Salesman, Mike Middledorf were both very professional, friendly and responsive. I had been working with several dealerships who were each trying to win my business. Massey was consistently the leader of the pack, offering me the best deal while the rest were content to try to follow when pushed. After reaching agreement on the details for this deal over the internet I arrived at the store to find the exact car I had ordered, beatifully detailed and gleaming. Everything was exactly as Massey had promised, no hithces or gottchas. In fact, I was surprised that the final price was $20 lower than had been agreed over the internet. When this was pointed out the Sales Manager, Doug Hildebrand, apologized and said that he had made an error earlier and had corrected it on his own! Now that is only $20, but it speaks volumes about the integrity that Massey brings to the table. Both Doug and the Finance Director, Keith Myers, were friendly and easy going. We couldn't have had a more pleasing car buying experience, There was absolutely no pressure like that which commonly makes you dread new car shopping. Justin Baker was awesome, he just provided us with information regarding all models that we were interested in and let us examine and draw our own conclusions, he allowed us to make our own decisions but was always near by if we had a question. He went out of his way to accomodate us in every way and once we had made a decision, he expedited the process on all levels. Keith made the paperwork a breeze and was able to answer all financial questions in a clear and concise manner. They allowed us to take the vehicle home for an evening to get a better feel and when we came back to purchase, had absolutley everything ready for us. Justin again reviewed all the vehicle functions and safety features and made sure that we understood everything about the vehicle and its warranty. He also took us back and explained the routine service procedures and introduced us to the service manager. I really couldn't have asked for a more hassle free experience. I will definitely return to Massey Hyundai for my next vehicle (s) and could only hope that the same personnel will be involved. Oh my, Where do I begin? Well as we all know the car buying process can be lengthy. I was looking at cars merely to get an idea of price, and what newly released models were available,out of curiosity n buying process can be lengthy. I was looking for an SUV,used, something small but roomy inside. That is not what I walked out with. I was coerced into buying a brand new car. Boy did they wack me over the head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I paid 30k for a new Sonata! Yep Im a sucker! I was told my intrest rate was 4.9% after getting home and reading over everything it was 7.49%! The car has already had 1 recall within a month of purchase, It has a humming noise on the right side of the car when turning, the service dept. CLAIMS IT RUNS TO THE INTENT OF THE VEHICLE! Who wants a brand new car that makes noise? None the less after checking my credit report They ran me thru 17 banks!!!! And imagine what my credit looks like now? I made it VERY clear I was very credit concious and only wanted a few inquiries.... 17 ? A few? I was promised this would have no huge impact on my score! Ill be damned! The salesman ..... well Ill leave that alone! The Finance director, a total schmuck! Cocky, arrogant and lies more than a rug!He is a total snake! After hearing for 2 long hours about how much money he has and what he was worth, I wanted to throw up in my mouth! Like I care? Was that a pick up line? Ewwwww! The reality of it was he didnt have 2 nickles to rub together, I later found this out. I guess that could be from the poor reputation they have there! I called the owners about the misquote on my apr. She said prove it! I then asked why I could purchase the same vehicle in Va. for $3900 less , she said, "Guess ya shoulda shopped around." Then hung up on me. BEWARE ! Go to Apple Valley Hyundai. MUCH BETTER! I know we all must make a living , but why Burn a single mother? Or anyone for that matter! MASSEY HYUNDAI is no more than legal BANK ROBBERS! No need fighting their scam they win everytime! More
