Initially, I had a good feeling about Mastria Mazda The staff Colton Connell, the finance manager, and manager Edgar Monterrosa, were all warm and welcoming. But like a great movie with a disappointing plot twist, things started to shift once we got into the fine print. My lease buyout was supposed to be $27,524. Somehow, the final purchase price ended up being $28,040. I was told this was because they were “buying the vehicle from themselves” and needed to “inspect it.” Fascinating logic, charging me $500 for the privilege of buying my own car, which I’ve cared for since mile one. Must be a new industry trend. Then came the financing fun. Despite having solid credit, I got the privilege of watching nine credit inquiries stack up while they hunted for a loan. There were offers at 20%, 18%, and a few other eyebrow-raising rates before finally landing at 9%. I suppose “throw everything at the wall and see what sticks” is a financing strategy now? I also declined all the extra bells and whistles, no GAP insurance, no maintenance plans. It’s a new car. I’m the only owner. But saying “no thank you” to all of that didn’t go over too well. You could almost hear the commission slipping away, and the mood shifted fast. The cherry on top? I had to pay $35 out-of-pocket for an inspection I was told would be reimbursed. That was over a month ago. Since then, it's been an ongoing game of voicemail tag and vanishing accountability. Funny how the follow-up energy fades once there’s no more money to squeeze out of you. To sum it up: friendly up front, slippery in the middle, and invisible at the end. If you like your car buying experience with a side of smoke and mirrors, this is your place. Otherwise, proceed with caution and maybe bring your own magnifying glass for the fine print. More
I had a very positive experience at Mastriano Mazda, both in trading in my old vehicle, and purchasing a new one. They gave me a great price on the trade-in, and they worked with me in a timely, no-pressure in trading in my old vehicle, and purchasing a new one. They gave me a great price on the trade-in, and they worked with me in a timely, no-pressure way, with clear explanations, through the purchasing process. Both the sales person (Thomas—“big red”) and Finance staff member treated me with kindness and professionalism. We even had some good laughs together, making it a fun and exciting experience to buy a new car! More
My husband and I stopped in to end my lease. Ashley was walking in, hands full but she stopped to check on us and didn’t hesitate to help. I wrote on here back when I first bought my car something great because I was told I’d get a free tank of gas with my purchase . So right there is a red flag you bribed me for a good review. All I can say is I would never tell anybody to buy a car here , All they care about here is what’s in your wallet . Very disappointed . I was told “to go somewhere else” when I had an issue . Will never buy from them again. I have had nothing but issues with this car within the FIRST year. If your power train is up, they will do NOTHING for you. Flex pipes are ROTTING un I have had nothing but issues with this car within the FIRST year. If your power train is up, they will do NOTHING for you. Flex pipes are ROTTING underneath, so they offered me a free oil change to shut me up. My husband and I have gotten 4 vehicles from them in the past and this is how we are treated. Ill take my business elsewhere and make sure my friends do as well. More
Wow, what a surprisingly pleasant car buying experience! I’ve never been able to say that before and I’ve never written a review of a car dealer before. Yesterday I went to Mastria Mazda, with dread in I’ve never been able to say that before and I’ve never written a review of a car dealer before. Yesterday I went to Mastria Mazda, with dread in my heart, to go through the process of buying a new car, CX-5 in this case. I was paired up with Thomas Belliveau as my product specialist (salesperson) and what a great experience it turned out to be. Thomas is a friendly, well-spoken professional in every sense. He was very helpful and great to work with. Being this would be the first time I purchased a Mazda, he shared an appropriate amount of knowledge about the CX-5 and CX-9 trims without being "salesy". He answered the few questions I had and sent me off on my own for three test drives with different cars. That was easy. I wanted to buy the CX-5 and now I braced myself for the car dealer "negotiation dance". Again, I was blown away by how straightforward the experience was. I told Thomas I wanted to buy the car and it came down to the money. I had a trade, so he asked for the keys to my trade, and they where returned to me in about 15 minutes. I didn't have to demand them back! I asked for their best offer on my trade and for them to price two different cars (different trims of the CX-5). They got me printouts in 5 or 10 minutes and we only had to go back over the offer once and I felt like I received a great deal (given current market conditions). Finance/Business Office experience was also quick and reasonable. If you are looking for a new car, especially if its for a Mazda, do your self a favor and visit Mastria Mazda and ask to work with Thomas Belliveau! More
