Alvin went above and beyond to help make the buying process as easy and stress fee as possible he treated us like family. I would also like to thank Steve the General Manager, and Tony in finance they were also very helpful in making the process as smooth as possible. I would not hesitate to buy from them again and plan on making another purchase in the near future. More
Classic bait and switch. I’m a father of 3, and my wife is disabled (car accident). So I’m on a budget. I went to Matt bowers Slidell location because they had a Kia Rio I wa I’m a father of 3, and my wife is disabled (car accident). So I’m on a budget. I went to Matt bowers Slidell location because they had a Kia Rio I was interested in. It was the cheapest car on the lot, but again I’m on a TIGHT budget. My mom was with me incase I needed a little bit of money to close the deal. As soon as I get there the salesman immediately started trying to sell me something more expensive, that’s the job I get it. I told him I really can’t and he relented. When we went to go test drive the car, the salesman couldn’t find it in the used car lot in back. We did find the car…..parked behind a dumpster… on the other side of the building.. The car started right up, NO PROBLEMS. The test drive went great, I liked the car, it was fuel efficient, ran well, and the AC blew cold. Exactly what I needed. We returned to the dealer ship and sign the paperwork, and all that jazz. It takes awhile, I understand. So I sit patiently waiting for an hour, I asked for a water 3 times and never received it, not important to the story, but I thought I’d mention it. The salesman started the car WITH NO PROBLEM, and drove it to the back to be “detailed”. At this point I’m just waiting to swipe my card to pay and be handed my keys. 30 minutes later the salesman walked up and tells me that the car now “won’t turn over” and HAPPENED to have keys for a Chevy Malibu, that I can “afford the payments for” and it was ONLY 12,000 more the the car I was attempting was buy. I told him I wasn’t interested, he calls to sales manager over. He also tries to upsell me, when I refuse he tells me “ok let’s close on this car, and we will call you when it’s fixed” to which I respond “fix it and call me, I’ll come buy it, I’m not buying a broken car.” He told me “I can’t put money into it if you don’t buy it.” Ok so let’s follow that logic, if I don’t buy it…. Are you gonna let it sit broken on the lot? No, you arent. At this point he starts pushing for the Malibu again, needless to say I was fed up and walked out. He followed me out and was demanding a reason as to why I was leaving, like it was apparent… I get into my van and my mother went to her car. I go to pull out of the parking lot and he is trying to stop my mother from getting into her car. I had to get out of my van and go over and tell her she can go as she’s is to scared to stand up for herself, and he could see that he was gonna try to get her to buy a car FOR me. She got in her car. I told him he was shady and I’m not an idiot. He insinuated that I wasted THIER time. I’m the one that wasted 2 and 1/2 hours of my time after being at work all day. I will never go there again, I thought the Slidell location would be okay to go to. A few years ago at the Covington location once tricked my mother (she was up there by herself ) in to giving them her keys and would not give them back when she asked for them, because they wanted her to buy a new car. I had to leave work and DEMAND, loudly, that they return the keys. I understand Chevy is like a franchise, but I can’t believe they allow the Chevy brand to be represented like this. More

Services is good, taken care of my vehicle in a quick & and loving way. Just wished it would give more discounts, no matter what work is being done. Especially the cost of some of work is very costly. Mili and loving way. Just wished it would give more discounts, no matter what work is being done.
