Unsatisfactory Body Shop Work I ordered a replacement part to be custom painted and installed on the back of my FORD Taurus X Eddie Bauer. The part was installed, I paid for the w I ordered a replacement part to be custom painted and installed on the back of my FORD Taurus X Eddie Bauer. The part was installed, I paid for the work and was ready to pull out of the Body Shop, but decided to check to see how the "part" looked. To my dismay, there were "scratches" on the newly installed part. I told "Chris" who worked in the shop and he brought my car back into be looked at by the body shop employee who did the work on my car. I was then informed that they have to remove the part and "re-paint" the part. The repair was not inexpensive. Where is the "quality control" and "quality check" in the work that was performed? Doesn't anyone "check" to see that the work is done properly "before" returning it to the Customer?" And what about the person who did the work. Has he no pride in his workmanship? Very disappointed in this. Now I have to find time during my busy "selling season" to return to Matthew Currie Ford to have the the part removed, re-painted and re-installed. Spoke briefly with Russell (He returned my phone call to him.) Russell said that when I am ready to come back in for the repair work to call him direct, which I will do, when I can break away from my business to come back in to have the work done. Phenomenal Experience! The atmosphere at Matthews-Currie Ford is very different from any other dealership I’ve been to. Usually before I can even get out of my car I’m bein The atmosphere at Matthews-Currie Ford is very different from any other dealership I’ve been to. Usually before I can even get out of my car I’m being swarmed by a pack of salesman. It was a total 180 at MCF. The staff were very laid back and did not put any pressure on me. My salesman, Randy Getchey, made the whole process extremely easy. When I decided to pull the trigger and get my truck it was almost closing time. Randy had left for the day but turned around to make sure I got everything taken care of properly. Truly going above and beyond. During the financing process I jokingly asked to put my name in a drawing for a tv. Normally it’s only for customers who purchase brand new vehicles and mine was a used one but I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask. The finance manager Serj went and asked the GM if I could be entered into the drawing. 5 minutes later Ed walked up and handed me a 40” flat screen. Talk about putting a cherry on top of the Sunday!! I can’t say enough how nice it was doing business with them. They gave me an amazing deal on my truck and the whole process was very simple and easy. Highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a quality vehicle. More
