We can see that you are frustrated, and completely understand why you are so upset: No one would want to pay for something out of pocket if it was covered under warranty! When you first brought your vehicle concern to us, we diagnosed your problem, and provided you with a quote for what that repair would cost. At that time, you declined the repair, having never mentioned you had an extended service contract. If you had elected to do the work with us, we would have proceeded to asking about pay options, and we would have asked if you had any extended service contracts that might help cover the cost. Regardless, if you had done the repair here, and we had still made this mistake, we would make it right. However, when you declined the repair here, you then went to another shop and paid them to perform the work, but they never inquired as to if you had any extended coverage. We were completely cut out of the loop in our ability to assist you. We recommend that you ask the shop where you had the work performed, if they can't help you go through your warranty company. You can also contact your warranty company directly, and ask them to reimburse you. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask, and we will be happy to address your concerns. When the major credit card companies increased their processing charges to 3%, it no longer was an affordable cost of doing business for us, so we made the decision pass on this fee since last November.
