*DO NOT TRUST MAXWELL FORD TO SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE* Back in April someone stole a key to my truck. I do not know who. Upon finding this out I took my 2022 Ford F-150 that I purchased new from this dealers in April someone stole a key to my truck. I do not know who. Upon finding this out I took my 2022 Ford F-150 that I purchased new from this dealership straight to their service department. I paid them nearly $400 for a new key FOB and program it to the truck while removing the old stolen key. Upon leaving I am assured “that the two keys that you have are the only two keys that work with the truck” by the technicians. This service took place on April 24th, 2023 Fast forward to May 5th, 2023 MY TRUCK IS STOLEN I wake up to go to work and find my truck is not in the parking lot where I left it. Thankfully due to the technology that Ford provides with the FordPass app and the assistance of Austin Police Department we were able to recover my truck quickly. But I am still at a loss of thousands of dollars of personal possessions that were taken from my truck by the thief. As you the reader can guess where this is going. I’ve come to find out that the key THAT I PAID Maxwell Ford service to remove from my truck, WAS NOT REMOVED AT ALL. Then upon discussing this incident with Service Department Manager Mr. Sullivan about the incident that occurred. And asking for assistance as to why the services that I paid them to do weren’t done, and requesting reimbursement for the services that weren’t provided and restitution for stolen property Maxwell Ford is responsible for. The response I’m given is, “We are not responsible because you lost the key in the first place”. This cop out statement is bogus. Had Maxwell Ford service department performed the services that I paid them to do this incident wouldn’t have occurred in the first place. In conclusion, Maxwell Ford can not be trusted. Not now. Not ever. They will take your money. Tell you to your face that you got what you paid for, and not deliver it. Then not provide refunds for failed services. More

My check engine light came on less than a month of me having the car. I go to the service department and it will take a week to even look at my car. This is ridiculous.
