Service Dept needs serious help. Maybe ONE mechanic who knows what he/she is doing. A lot less B.S.'ing would be nice, they have an answer for everything they screw up, putting it back on the customer. T More

Maxwell Ford responded

The vast majority of people who come in to re-sign do so because we obtained a lower rate and saved them more money. We offer lower rates than the credit union lobby rates. If terms change negatively or financing does not go through, it is a reflection of credit problems and/or the inability to prove income and job time.

Maxwell Ford responded

The customer obviously wrote this review before giving anyone at the dealership a chance to reply. If the customer is honest, she will admit that she brough the vehicle back in to us and we repaired everything correctly at our expense. The customer has not explained what happened with the full story of the bumper but it was replaced as promised to factory specs.

TANA HUNT responded

My above review was written as I was trying to get in touch with Maxwell Ford. Does that matter? called and could get NO ONE for a couple of hours. I finally got in touch with someone named SCOTT and THEN I wrote my review.who I presume is the author of this reply here on 8/20 at 3:40. Just because I finally got in touch with someone at the dealership does not take away the fact that the bumper on my daughters car was TAPED on. We ended up taking the car in and Maxwell Ford put the bumper on CORRECTLY, as promised, (after it was taped on)but only after I threw a fit in the first place. I am not sure what this responder, who is "nameless" by the way, is talking about when they state that I didnt tell the FULL story. I told the full story, the only thing I didnt say is that Maxwell Ford had contracted the work out to another company. But what does that matter? The bottom line is that Maxwell Ford is responsible for the job they put out whether it was contracted out or not. That is NOT an excuse for what happend. NOW, are you supposed to receive some sort of Gold Star for correcting a problem like this at your expense? I think not, it should not have happend in the first place. My family spend alot of WASTED time on this situation, we had to make several trips to the dealership. NO EXCUSES when someone is spending their hard earned money at your dealership. I might add that I purchased a Lexus at Lexus of Austin last week and I have received EXCELLENT service... you guys forget that you have this kind of competition out there. We KNOW what good customer service is and you cannot dress it up any other way. To conclude my reponse to you..I am a VERY honest person... I was finally pleased once it was over and you all let my daughter use a TRUCK instead of a car (since she was moving) until her car was completed about a week later... I was EVEN still pleased when I had to make yet ANOTHER trip back to your dealership for the lost mats that were promised but not given to us when the car was fixed.... BUT, getting a response like this from you, saying "if the customer was honest that she will admit that the car was brought back and repaired at your expense".. That was uncalled for. I had forgotten that I even wrote this email. Why don't you just bite the bullet and take responsibility for your dealership. If you don't feel that I have told the whole story.. then tell it... right here right now. I have written notes on the whole situation, timed and dated. My story is the full honest story and this just shows what kind of dealership you really are, with your response. By the way, What was your name? Mine is out there up front and honest.
