My car was having problems shifting into gear. I was moving to Austin for a new job opportunity. I'm not familiar with the Austin area and took my car to Firestone originally for service. Firestone wasn't my first choice because I'm a loyal Ford customer. Firestone was the nearest maintenance shop I could find when my car started having issues. The Firestone mechanic kept my car for two (2) then advised me the transmission on the car needed to be replaced. I take great care of my 2012 Ford Focus. I honestly love my car and was literally in tears when Firestone told me it would be better to sell the car because the cost to repair/replace the transmission would be 5-6k. I was already in a hole due to the 120 dollar diagnostic test. I'm proud to say I'm a proud Ford owner of my 2012 Ford Focus (140K miles), 2004, 40th Year Anniversary GT/Convertible (99K miles), and my 2021, Mach 1 (6K miles). I needed to take my Focus (Aka "Lil Bit") back to the manufacturer who built the car originally. I looked up the nearest Ford dealership and found Maxwell Ford. I work late hours so I wasn't sure I would be able to get assistance with my problem. I called Maxwell Ford and spoke to Megan2. Megan listened to my concerns and asked me to bring the car in for service. While talking with Megan2, I felt she really cared about my concerns. I arrived at Maxwell Ford and was blown away on how efficient this repair shop was. My car was taken in immediately and I was able to talk to Megan 2 in person. Megan 2 was a breath of fresh air. Megan 2 was kind, patient, and provided me the information I needed in a clear and concise matter. Professionalism at its best. Oh my. Great/Outanding customer service still exist. Megan 2 kept me updated daily. Yes, you heard me correctly. "Daily" updates. My car was returned to me the following week. This was another surprise because I took the car in late Friday evening and the car was returned to me on Wednesday. The car was actually ready on Tuesday but I was unable to pick up the car when I received a text messages to come pick up my car at my convenience The clutch was replaced and "Lil Bit" was back in service. My Focus has never let me down. My girl has never broken down on the road and has always been dependable.
