Always friendly and knowledgable service. I’m often surprised at how fast the service is performed and I’m able to get back to my day. I’m often surprised at how fast the service is performed and I’m able to get back to my day. More

My wife and I recently purchased a vehicle from Maxwell Ford, and all tho the car-buying experience in itself was excellent, the after-buying experience was not. I had to drive the vehicle we just Maxwell Ford, and all tho the car-buying experience in itself was excellent, the after-buying experience was not. I had to drive the vehicle we just spent $41,000 on for 1,500 miles with absolutely no working DPF system. No functional emissions system put me in a position to break federal emissions laws. Not only that, but I also have to have the emissions tested before I can register the vehicle. We spend $41,000 on and must pay more to fix the emissions system. Adding to the stress of the emissions system not being in good working order as it should have been per federal and state law for listing, leasing, or selling a vehicle, I had no airflow coming from the A/c or Heater the entire trip. I had to make multiple stops not only because it was 34 degrees F outside and I was becoming freezing and uncomfortable to drive, but I also had to stop to defrost or defog my window because, with no airflow to do that for me, I could not drive down the road safely. I asked multiple times about what I could do to solve this problem. I even offered to have parts sent, and I'll figure out the rest. But Maxwell Ford consistently told me that it was on me, and I had to figure it out on my own. Well, lucky for me, I have proof in the form of messages that someone who works at the dealership I will not name illegally modified the truck and sold it to us with an illegal tune that not only hides all the DTC codes but also shuts the DPF emissions system down. We became a little more frustrated with not receiving a callback or any of the messages I left answered. Maxwell Ford ignored me, and no one would answer my calls anymore. So, at that point, I told my sales representative that I had legal resources I get for free due to the nature of my job and that I did not want to go down that road, but it's getting to that point because no one wants to take me seriously and help fix the issues I'm having. He then told me Because I mentioned lawyers, he could no longer talk to me, and I would have to reach out to the company's attorneys, but he never gave me anything to contact them with and never responded to my request for a phone number for them. So I'm sitting here with a truck I just paid $41,000 for and have no idea how much it will cost me to fix it so I can register it legally and drive it legally when I shouldn't even have to be in that position in the first place. I can not begin to describe the time, money, and stress this has caused me and my family. And the sad part is we had a newborn son, and the sales team knew that but still put us in a position like they did. It is clearly stated in the Texas Dealer Ethics that It is imperative that you operate your new business with complete integrity and the highest ethical standards at all times. You must follow every State and Federal guideline on every transaction, PERIOD! It's sad to say that my family and I became victims of not only an illegal sale against Texas law that states, but Texas law also prohibits any person from selling, offering for sale, leasing, or offering to lease any vehicle not equipped with all emission control systems or devices in good operable condition. Which also carries a fine of up to $25,000 per violation, but also a breach of the Texas dealer ethics. This is truly sad to see this is how Texas treats its active duty service members. In my opinion, be extremely careful when buying used cars from here. As far as a new car, I'm sure that experience presents no issues and should be a great experience. More
