Good afternoon, I have responded to the used car manager through an email I wrote with an offer to resolve the issue. Within the email is what we feel would be a fair resolution given the severity of the situation, deeming both state and federal law violations we unknowingly became subject to violating. This could have ultimately devastated my career in law enforcement and the security clearances I hold due to the nature and complexity of my job. I was unknowingly violating my oath to uphold all environmental laws and regulations, which could cost me my credentials from my previous assignment and, most notably, the sheer safety of my family and ability to provide a stable income, including the benefits of my job that could have been lost. I appreciate your response and willingness to resolve the issue as well as prevent this from occurring to any other car-buying customers in the future who could also unknowingly become subject to high levels of stress in a situation that should be considered to be a positive, memorable experience and not one that presents financial stress due to unknown cost for repair and the simple feeling of making your first vehicle payment on something that's not considered to be safe or in our situation legal according to state and federal laws.
