Bought a used 2017 cx-5 on Wednesday. Michael said diagnostics were run and there were no issues. Picked the car up on Thursday. Had to have the car jumped within 72 hours. Called Mazda o Michael said diagnostics were run and there were no issues. Picked the car up on Thursday. Had to have the car jumped within 72 hours. Called Mazda of Lodi and asked about what to do. Asked about the diagnostics they ran, "car started fine for us". Starting the car is not a diagnostic. Checking the battery is diagnostic. They sold me a car with a "bad battery" and then tried to charge $250 (minus a gracious 10% discount) for a new battery. Bad business practices. Bring a mechanic or at least a code reader since their "diagnostics" are less than acceptable. More
