Thank you for sharing your experience. We'd like to offer some clarity on what took place during your visits. When your vehicle first came in, we diagnosed and successfully repaired the electronic parking brake concern — that repair was completed, verified, and covered in full through your extended warranty with no cost to you. When the warning light returned after pickup, this was an entirely separate brake issue traced back to a previous rear brake service performed at another facility before you purchased the vehicle. That service was not completed using the required maintenance mode procedure for electronic parking brake systems, which caused additional components to fail over time. We identified the root cause, obtained supplemental warranty coverage, and completed those repairs as well — again at no out-of-pocket expense to you. The extended timeline was primarily due to a nationally backordered driveshaft, which was outside of our control. Throughout the entire wait, we provided you with a loaner vehicle so you were never without transportation. We understand this was a lengthy and at times confusing process, and we're sorry the communication didn't always reflect that clearly. We're glad we were able to get everything resolved and would welcome the chance to reconnect if you have any remaining concerns. Please don't hesitate to contact Bobby Shiels at 916-755-5630.
