My experience with Mazda of Elk Grove was overwhelmingly positive. Being my first new car purchase, I began my online shopping and research feeling very cautious (and quite possibly a little paranoid). When positive. When I settled on a make and model, I ultimately decided to make the trip to Mazda of Elk Grove in large part due to Matthew. He was was extremely helpful, informative, and very pleasant to interact with. He guided me through the process in a friendly and efficient manner...without the patronizing attitude I've encountered from salespeople at other lots, and with other large purchases. In terms of service, he went above and beyond what I expected, and he got me a great deal! I came away from my first new car purchase experience feeling really good about it. I would absolutely recommend Matthew and Mazda of Elk Grove to anybody and I would DEFINITELY purchase from them again! More

Ordering parts and getting the correct parts can be very hard at times, but having Bill Thiessen and Kao Chao at the Mazda of Elk Grove parts department makes it very easy and simple. Bill is always 100% ac hard at times, but having Bill Thiessen and Kao Chao at the Mazda of Elk Grove parts department makes it very easy and simple. Bill is always 100% accurate with parts orders and at times will even deliver the parts himself. Kao is a great leader for that parts department and always takes good care of his customers. I recommend Bill and Kao to every shop/vender I talk to. The only thing I would suggest is to have your main counter guys work Monday thru Friday. Most shops order Mondays thru Fridays and its assurance knowing Bill and Kao are the two guys we can count on during the work week. Great job guys! Keep up the good work! More
Being based in Nevada, not a lot of dealerships wanted to interact with me until I was on their lot. Rachel was in contact with me prior to my visit, setting up the deal and then getting as much of the work interact with me until I was on their lot. I was refereed here by a very good friend of mine who bought a car here. I set up an appointment and the sales person was right on time awaiting my arrival with an idea of what vehicles to show me. She a bought a car here. I set up an appointment and the sales person was right on time awaiting my arrival with an idea of what vehicles to show me. She actively listened, and didn't try and push me into a car that I didn't need, she focused on just the things I wanted She was NOT pushy in anyway and if she didn't know the answer to a question she found it. I drove off the lot in my brand new Mazda 3 the same day and I love my car! I would recommend this dealer to anyone that asked. Awesome job! More

This will be my 2nd car paid off but FIRST time to have it under my credit! :) He answered all my questions thru text (most sales reps want to either talk to you on the phone or at the FIRST time to have it under my credit! :) He answered all my questions thru text (most sales reps want to either talk to you on the phone or at the dealer) & also in a timely manner. He was not pushy which I liked since I already knew exactly what I wanted. Hassle free! No negative comments about his work ethics. Totally recommend this guy!! What I did have an issue was with the down payment. I made sure, thru text & a phone call, that I didn't need the full amount that we discussed due to check issues - 7 business days for it clear. I did not have a check for them to hold & couldnt go to my bank since it was after 6pm. Then I was transferred to the finance guy, he was ookaayy. He could've done a lot better to make me feel comfortable. I'm 5mths pregnant & he was walking way to fast for me to keep up. Yes it was the day before thanksgiving & 845pm however, he did not need to rush that much. We walked into three different rooms & they were long walks. He explained how I was his last customer & that he wanted to go home, understandable but he kept reiterating it as if I'm the one holding him up. I was also trying to make conversation & tried to personalize the interaction but he kept interrupting me to talk to the other employees about their plans for thanksgiving. Uhmm, kinda rude right? I guess what I had to say wasn't interesting enough. He was also a little pushy about the extended 7yr warranty. I called my fiancé to ask if we should add it on & he said no so of course I'm going to refuse the warranty. He then said it's usually a 6yrs but I'll add another year on top. I didn't like how he kept explaining to me how it was better for me to get it after I said no three times. I totally understand how it can save money however I will not say yes to something my future husband said no to. If was up to just ME then I wouldve got it, I asked my fiancé for his opinion & for the final decision for a reason. Then he responded "you guys are pretty ballsey. I don't trust cars since they're man made & if the manufacturer trusted their vehicles so much why do they only have a limited warrenty?" I'm also a sakes rep but I will NEVER tell my customer to ask their significant other for their opinion & answer then go & do the total opposite. It's disrespectful. & I already told my fiancé that if anything does happen to our car he will NEVER hear the end of it :) Overall experience was good! But it couldve been better. Garrett made it hassle free & spoke to me like a friend. I will definitely recommend friends & family to Garrett! I'll give the finance guy the benefit of doubt. He was already tired when I got transferred to him & it was the day before thanksgiving. More

The entire team was super friendly, from the online chat with Danielle that started it all to ending with the excellent service provided by Shailene and then moving on to financing with Joe who was super easy to work with and VERY friendly as well! We can't say enough good things about our experience purchasing my first NEW car in over 20 years! Shailene made it go very smoothly and I was driving home in no time! Thanks again!!
