After searching many dealerships we ended up purchasing our 2014 Mazda 6 from Mazda of Elk Grove. Jaik, Garrett and Grant were Great. We had been to 6 other dealerships shopping and as we arrived at Mazda of Elk Grove, we were greeted by Jaik Willmon. Never having owned a Mazda before, we had many questions. These were all answered very efficiently by Jaik. Being relatively new at the dealership, Jaik looked to Garrett Oxnaes for guidance regarding some of the process. Garrett was informative and eager to provide direction/assistance. Meeting our shopping list of Options on the vehicle and staying within our budget was no easy task as we discovered at the other dealerships we had visited. I am happy to say that this past weekend we bought our first vehicle from Mazda of Elk Grove. We believe our purchase was for a quality vehicle at a great price. Neither Jaik nor Garrett were ever pushy, always mindful of our budget, and our vehicle needs. Grant Salge was equally helpful, patient and thorough in his explanations as we finalized the purchase. My fiance had a great experience with Mazda of Elk Grove, so I was looking forward to purchasing my new car there! After a few initial hiccups (emails went unanswered because the individiual i test-drove my so I was looking forward to purchasing my new car there! After a few initial hiccups (emails went unanswered because the individiual i test-drove my car with had ceased working there and an overzealous sales associate who went beyond leaving voicemails and began texting me to win over my business - which I found pretty inappropriate), my fiance reached out to Garrett, who had sold him his car and it was a wonderful experience from there. Garrett is great to work with, very knowledgable about the vehicles, but it never feels like you're working with a salesman - he treated the experience like he was helping a friend, not a customer, which I really appreciated. This was my first time purchasing a car and I'd heard horror stories of sitting around a dealership waiting around, but Garrett made sure the process moved along quickly. Grant was also wonderful to work with. Again, horror stories of the mountains of paperwork and pressure, but Grant explained things clearly and never tried to bias any decisions. I also appreciated that he really went out of his way to beat the financing my bank had given me. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I would HIGHLY recommend Garrett, Grant, and the rest of Mazda of Elk Grove to anyone interested in great cars and a great dealership. More

Over the past few months, I test drove a new Mazda CX-5 and a Mazda 6 on three different visits. Each time, I never felt pressured or harassed to buy a car. This past weekend, I finally decided to purchase a 2014 Mazda 6 Grand Touring and am very happy with my new car. The sales transaction was a very smooth which only took about 45 minutes. The sales person who assisted me with my purchase was Omar Bubaker who was very professional , friendly, and knowledgeable. Since I am big on great customer service, I would definitely recommend Mazda of Elk Grove Sales and Service Department to all of my friends and family. More

I went with a friend who was looking to buy a used car. She really liked the Mazda 3 and had a good experience test driving with Pasao Yang. I went back with her to look at actually buying the car and had a good, spirited back and forth negotiating the price of the car. At one point, Yang asked if he could bring his manager over to discuss prices. Omar Bubaker came over and tried to argue that they're a business and couldn't lower the sale price anymore. He became rude, condescending and tried to guilt trip us, so my friend and I got up to leave. Yang was able to continue working with us professionally to sell a car and he came down in price, so we were able to come to an agreement. His coworker Omar almost cost him a sell. Omar's approach of insulting customers and claiming poverty for the dealership is not the best business model. He is not a good representative of the dealership. Though haggling can get a little awkward, Yang continued to work with us, and we were all laughing by the end of the transaction. I would recommend Yang highly to anyone who visits Mazda of Elk Grove. The financial guy, Grant Salge was also awesome helping us figure out warranties and made signing the final paperwork painless. I really enjoyed working with Pasao Yang, he was extremely knowledgable about the car and did everything he could to make sure I walked about way and confident about the trade. He is the reason I would recommend this dealer to a friend, however, I did have a very bad experience with Omar Bubaker. Omar was rude from the moment he sat down to talk with me. He was talked down to me and at one point I even walked out of the dealership as a result of his poor treatment. Yang, however walked me out and explained that we would continue to do whatever he could to make a deal. I did walk out with a car that I am very happy with and I will go back to get my next one there as well, but I'll just avoid working with Omar. More

I came to Elk Grove Mazda not thinking about buying a Mazda but went home with one. Sherlock Tang and Joe Vo really convinced me that Mazda was the right choice; and they were right.
