I just purchased a 2014 CX5 Grand Touring vehicle on August 28th. My experience with Mazda of Elk Grove, CA has everything to do with their sales staff and especially Matt Heidrich. When you think about buying a car it almost feels the same as going to the dentist one of those things you don't want to do but you have too, but this experience was the total opposite it took me by surp same as going to the dentist one of those things you don't want to do but you have too, but this experience was the total opposite it took me by surprise from beginning to end. The negotiating happened all through email I didn't have to sit in a dealership for 6 hours going back and forth to get a price I want, he simply had everything done by the time I got to the dealership, he made it as painless as possible but at the same time providing great customer experience. This dealership and Garrett made me believe again that there are people with integrity in the car business and there are people there that actually care. This was the best car experience I have ever experienced! Our experience was very relaxing, if that seems possible at a car dealership. Never once did we hear "what is it going to take to get you in this car today, tomorrow, or next week". This is a great dealership for several reasons: 1) information is shared/given freely and without being pushy; 2) any pressure to "buy the car today" was minimal and non-invasive, 3) communication via information is shared/given freely and without being pushy; 2) any pressure to "buy the car today" was minimal and non-invasive, 3) communication via email was outstanding and allowed me to get answers in writing so that I could feel confident everyone was on the same page, and 4) I am a bit obsessive about neatness and organization so I liked that my paperwork was always easily located, I never saw a cluttered desk or dirty showroom area and the finance manager, Ron, was exceedingly organized in presenting the paperwork.
