Poor handling of a problem. I purchased a 2019 Mazda CX-9 Signature Edition from Mazda of Gladstone. Jeff the sales person told me he could beat Vancouver Mazda’s price so I drov I purchased a 2019 Mazda CX-9 Signature Edition from Mazda of Gladstone. Jeff the sales person told me he could beat Vancouver Mazda’s price so I drove up there. Jeff did not beat the price and I paid $44,166 which is fine. I liked the car up until I noticed a loud static sound coming from the Bose speakers. I know Bose is a quality brand so there must be something wrong with the settings. I tried turning the sound system off completely. Guess what, there is no option like that because the other vehicle prompts are wired into the speakers. They are always on, even when the CX9’s engine is off. The loud hissing/static sound gives me headaches. I thought it was just me, but I found 3 different forums where people are complaining about this same issue. I took the car back to them. The technicians tested a few things. They were rude and told me to keep the music on or go to Sterio King to get the system rigged. The technicians told me they don’t represent Mazda. I asked if they don’t, then who does? I can’t keep the music on at all times. That is ludicrous. I also cannot take a brand new car and void the warranty by adding or removing gadgets. I spoke to Mazda corporate. They didn’t help me, they said it was up to the local dealer to work with me to make me happy. I tried to live with the hissing sound. But it’s too overbearing. I’m a busy person like most people are and would never complain about something like this if it wasn’t a real issue. I went in to Mazda again and asked for them to buy the car back at a discount. I understand I put 2400 miles on it so I asked for $39k. That is a $5k drop from what I paid. Had they made things right, I would have never wanted to get rid of the car. With the knowledge that I am suffering with this loud static sound Jeff comes back and tries to take advantage of me and offers $32k. That is lower than the trade in value of a 2018 which is $35k. Completely unethical and uncaring. I am hurt and I was treated very unfairly. If you are fine with loud static hissing coming from the speakers then get a Mazda. If not, please don’t. More

Quick and easy I came in with a budget and exact car in mind and I left with a newer year of the car, still staying close to my budget. Shady business Shady dealership. Me buying a car was contingent on getting the Apple carplay retrofit for free when it released. Now they're saying they will not hon Shady dealership. This was a five star review that I am now dropping to one star. Shady shady business. By the way I know people that work at corporate. I got the family and friend discount from the corporate office in Irvine, CA and will be sure to let them know what's happening. More

He assured me that even though Tonkin told me no one besides Eugene had what I wanted that Gladstone had several to choose from. I showed up and haggled for a better price and left a couple of hours later. Found the perfect car for my sons Christmas gift and had a pleasant time doing so. Joey is a great guy as well is the rest of the staff at Gladstone. Will be back when the need arises. More
