Renze was awesome at helping me navigate the car buying process with humor and sensitivity to my situation. He got me the car I wanted at the price I wanted and even loaned me his phone charger from his personal car when I left because my phone died. Everyone from Renze to the finance manager to the GM was involved and they were all awesome to work with:) More

She kindly and with humor walked us through the remaining parts of the buying process and the Mazda of Gladstone team made it happen. The staff even stayed late to make our dreams come true. Nichole was so thoughtful! She had the car detailed and placed in a showroom with a bow on it. She captured the moment with a picture and immediately sent it to us. This is what buying a car should be like! I will preface this review by saying that I am not a person who enjoys shopping for a new car. I loathe high pressure sales tactics and the disingenuo I will preface this review by saying that I am not a person who enjoys shopping for a new car. I loathe high pressure sales tactics and the disingenuous personalities that it seems like the majority of the sales people possess. After about a year of research, I reached out to several Mazda dealers up and down the I5 corridor and for the most part I felt as though they saw me more as a dollar sign than as a human. However, from the moment our salesperson (Kat) made contact with me via text message I felt as though there was a genuine compassion and caring for what I wanted as a customer. Kat listened to what was important to me and then suggested a car that was a different (and less expensive) model than what I was originally considering buying. From her suggestion, I found a car that was a perfect fit! After choosing the car that I wanted, the finance department worked with me to find a payment plan that fit my budget. For me, the second most dreaded part of buying a car (after dealing with the sales person) is dealing with the finance department. However, Dave in the finance department was great and made the process painless. Like Kat, I felt as though he treated me as a person and not just part of a quota that he had to meet. Throughout the experience, the entire staff of Gladstone Mazda was consistently thoughtful, helpful and considerate in regards to all the questions that I had. Although I live in Salem, this will be my new "go to" dealership for buying vehicles. I highly recommend them to anyone! More
