Be sure to ask for MANNY! 5 stars for MANNY though! We purchased a 2018 manual Mazda 3 in July 2018. We had just walked off the lot at Herzog Mazda after experiencing bait and 5 stars for MANNY though! We purchased a 2018 manual Mazda 3 in July 2018. We had just walked off the lot at Herzog Mazda after experiencing bait and switch. At that point, we just wanted to go home. While we were grocery shopping Manny called my husband back. He assured him there was a manual Mazda 3 on the lot. Manny asked if he could call us back again as he wanted to walk the lot and touch the car himself to make sure it was actually there. After his return call we headed straight to Mazda of Gladstone. Manny was ready for us as soon as we arrived and thoroughly reviewed the car with us before we began our test drive. After returning to the dealership we were given to another sales associate as Manny needed to attend to another customer-at least that’s what we were told. We went back and forth with a 2nd and 3rd person while we negotiated. At one point, I did have to restrain from laughing when I heard “I’m losing money on this deal.”😅 Aside from that comment being antiquated, no dealership on the planet would retain employees who were actually losing money. Eventually we were sent to a fourth person for financing. He was awesome. We knew exactly what we did and did not want and we were not pressured to cave. The other notation is that my husband wanted the front end film installed and we both knew more about it than the sales associates. However, everyone was friendly and pleasant. I wanted to make sure that Excel was the actual front end film they used for their cars. One of the associates came out with a large sealed box and Excel in large letters. We couldn’t stop laughing at that point. As long as you are “clear” about what you want, I would recommend Mazda of Gladstone. Don’t forget to ask for Manny! More
