This was the worst customer service i have ever experienced. These "sales people" know nothing about the car history nor do they care about the customer only their commission. After working in sale experienced. These "sales people" know nothing about the car history nor do they care about the customer only their commission. After working in sales a long time, i know that good customer service leads to good commission. These guys, well they absoultly are terrible. me and my boyfriend went up on March/5/11 and were looking at a charger that online showed black rims and really fancy. When we get there we were advised the rims had been sold with a different car and perhaps we should look at something else,so we found a mustang whose tag said 2009 for 18,000 and come to find out it was actually a 2007 and was not worth that much. We put 500 dollars down and spoke with the financial ding bat who said the banks were closed but they would for sure know the following tuesday, so i called in and they said we did not get approved and that we would need to find something else. I ran a credit report on myself and my credit score was excellant for only being 18 and i happen to call the banks they ran my credit through. After reading the report they ran it through 4 different banks and three different times on three different cars. I called wells fargo and the other banks listed, and they stated they had been open on saturday and when i asked a rep if they had my name on file, one had said me and my boyfriend went through their bank three times. When i talked to a rep in Wells Fargo she stated that our credit had passed for the car the only thing problem was, the car was not worth that much and that they believe the car was wrecked. I ran the VIN number through car fax and it was sure enough true. The car had been wrecked twice and still over priced. This sweet rep also said that Mccloskey Motors is over priced and usually they will not take a car to finance from them unless the customer had really good 800 some what credit score. So now we have to take the car back and when i read my papers later it states that we will be charged 50 cents per mile 50 dollars per day. However we did tell the financial guy we did not want to take the car unless it was a for sure thing and he said it was and that not to worry. The actual sales man said we did get approved. On top of that we had stated we did not want the GAP protection because our insurrance still had something like that included in our plan and they still put it on claiming it was only six dollars and in reality it made our payment jump 40 dollars. So now we have to take the car back Saturday and for sure they are gonna recieve a piece of mind from me and since I am in sales myself, I know what social networking can do to a repuation. McCloskey Motors is absoulty the worse and they just love to con people and screw them over. In fact I have found a bunch of customers online who are willing to get together and start a huge complaint the BBB this company is not only a rip off but a huge F-------- Stay away from them and if your looking for a new car i suggest you try somewhere else. These people, are the Devils helpers and their lot is the devils nest. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. PS. complainers should file with BBB, they have a stack of complaints already. THANKS McCloskey for being liars and theifs. More
I went to purchase a vehicle I saw on their website. I was completely honest with them about my credit, having a chapter 13 bankruptcy. I asked them if it would be possible to get a loan for the car, EVE was completely honest with them about my credit, having a chapter 13 bankruptcy. I asked them if it would be possible to get a loan for the car, EVERYONE kept saying no problem. I took the car home, they told me my payments were going to be $342 a month and it would be due in 45 days... A week later they call and want my husbands information to add him to the loan. Then I noticed the headlight would shake when I hit bumps and then I went to clear off my windshield when there was dust and dirt on it and no fluid would come out. I tried to fill the fluid resevior and it poured straight through!! I took it to get serviced by them and they said they 'hoped' they fixed the headlight because the brackets were loose. The fluid pump to the windshield washer fluid was broke and they would have to talk to my salesman to see if they were going to replace it. Then a couple days later I get a call from the salesman telling me he got me approved by myself on the loan and to come in. I went in and he says he has good news and bad news..he got me a loan, but not on the 2007 vehicle with 69,000 miles, but on a 2002 vehicle with 108,000 miles!!! And they wanted me to drive the other vehicle home, I told him I just spent $40 filling up the tank. He let me take the 2007 vehicle home and said to drive all the gas out and bring it back tomorrow. I took it back all right and told him he could keep the 2002 and I wanted my $2000 down payment back. He said no problem and took my card and gave me a receipt that said REFUND at the top. I checked my balance 2 days later and the money is not there!!! I looked closer at the receipt and it says 'offline', so it wasn't even connected to the host when he ran my card!!!!! I've called and left a message for Dwight to call me back and he hasn't yet!!!!! Plus, I just found out, by JFR & Associates (A car dealership in Littleton) that by law I am suppose to contact the Trustee and get permission to take on more debt, first thing he said was "McCloskeys didn't tell you that?!!!" and there is a special form that needs to be filled out from the bankruptcy courts!!! I'm curious to how much trouble I would have been if they would have actually got me the loan!!!!! PLUS, they have a Land Rover on their website for $11,000 and when I first went there I asked why it was sooo cheap and they just said a bunch of bull and I just said ok whatever. Later when I asked about the Land Rover, Dwight told me the engine was blown - well guess what, it's still on the website for $11,000!!! Whatever you do, DO NOT GO TO MCCLOSKEYS!!!!!!!!!!! I had my car for 2 weeks before they told me that they couldn't finance me and by law they have 10 days!! I did my research and they broke allot of laws!!! DO NOT TRUST ANYONE THERE, NO MATTER HOW TRUSTWORTHY THEY SEEM!!!!! I wish I would have visited this website before I went in, I went in because of their stupid 'home feeling' commercial!!! More

Dealership posted pic of a ford truck on craigslist. Called on truck was told it was still available. Drove 18 mi. to see that not only had they already sold the truck "upon opening same day" but that Called on truck was told it was still available. Drove 18 mi. to see that not only had they already sold the truck "upon opening same day" but that the picture of the truck on internet did not remotely resemble truck on lot. The two salesman couldn't even get their stories to match about when the truck sold. Truck on lot was a POS. Like they took a dealer pic of what that year truck looked like new and posted it on craigslist. Beware "the old bait and switch" trick. The salesmen acted, (rather badly), "stupid" like no one knew what was going on. Does the word crooked come to mind. What a shame in this economy that there are still co's out there doing bad business trying to screw the consumer. I will never recommend or do business with this company. They think they are secure but in this economy word travels and these salesmen and internet salesmen better watch out there are one hundred honest people waiting for your jobs. More
We recently purchased a 2006 Toyota Rav 4 at McCloskey Motors. We worked with Elijah Gilmore and he was great at answering all of our questions and concerns. He was very informative and helpful through t Motors. We worked with Elijah Gilmore and he was great at answering all of our questions and concerns. He was very informative and helpful through the buying process and after. Elijah kept in touch with us while the Rav 4 underwent a complete inspection, 2 new brake pads, 4 new tires, complete interior detail, and touch up paint on the exterior~ it seriously looks like a brand new Rav 4! A big thanks goes out to Elijah and McCloskey Motors for making this a very happy buying experience! More
I just purchased my second vehicle from them in six months. The first was a 2006 Ford Focus for my 17 year old daughter. I had called ahead and let them know what I was looking for and about the car (P months. The first was a 2006 Ford Focus for my 17 year old daughter. I had called ahead and let them know what I was looking for and about the car (POS) I wanted to trade. They treated my daughter with with the utmost respect since they knew if she was not happy we would not buy from them. They put her in the perfect car and she loves it. I just bought another vehicle form them this week and everyone was great, even when I called back the next day to tell them I forgot something in the truck I traded in, they said "No problem". Mike and the rest of the crew at McClosky are top notch in my book, did I mention that I am in sales and I know I can be a real hard *&& on other sales people, especially if they start the "slick Eddie" routine. WHEN I FOUND THE TRUCK I WANTED @ McCLOSKY MOTORS I SPOKE WITH WALTER FLOWERS (PRODUCT SPECIALIST) I TOLD HIM MY SITUATION AND ASKED HE HE COULD HELP? I HAD ALREADY CONCLUDED THAT WHAT I NEEDED DONE WAS NOT WITH WALTER FLOWERS (PRODUCT SPECIALIST) I TOLD HIM MY SITUATION AND ASKED HE HE COULD HELP? I HAD ALREADY CONCLUDED THAT WHAT I NEEDED DONE WAS NOT ATTAINABLE BUT I THREW IT OUT THERE ANYWAY. I TOLD WALTER THAT I WANTED A FAIR TRADE IN ON MY OVERLY MODIFIED DODGE DIESEL, GET ME OUT OF MY 2010 GTI LEASE AND GET ME A NO INCOME VERIFICATION LOAN ON THE REMAINDER OF WHAT I WOULD OWE ON THE TRUCK I HAD IN MIND.(10,000 FYI) I KNEW IN MY HEAD THAT THERE WAS NO WAY HE COULD PULL THIS OFF, BUT I WAS HAVING FUN. I LEFT THAT EVENING WITH AN OVERNIGHT TEST DRIVE ON THE TOYOTA TUNDRA THAT I WAS INTERESTED IN, WALTER SAID TAKE THE TRUCK FOR THE DAY WHILE HE WENT TO WORK ON MY TRADES. I WAS WORRIED THAT EVENING DO TOO THE FACT THAT I LOVED THE TUNDRA AND DIDNT WANT TO RETURN IT, BECAUSE I KNEW IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT ALMOST ALWAYS IS! TOO MY SURPRISE WALTER CALLED THE NEXT AFTERNOON AND TOLD ME THAT HE HAD SECURED TWO OF MY THREE REQUESTS(TRADE VALUE ON MY TRUCK @ BUYOUT OF THE GTI LEASE) I WAS STUNNED! I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS HEARING. THE FOLLOWING DAY WALTER'S PARTNER TRAVIS CAMPBELL CALLED AND TOLD ME THAT MY LOAN HAD BEEN APPROVED AND MY TARGET PAYMENTS HAD BEEN MET, I WAS FLOORED! HOW DID THEY DO IT AND ON WHAT END WAS I GOING TO GET THE SHAFT.. WE FINISHED THE PAPERWORK AND IT WAS DONE. NO LIES,NO GAMES JUST STRAIGHT HONESTY FROM AN UPSTANDING DEALERSHIP.. P.S. I WILL BE BACK, AND SO WILL MY FAMILY BECAUSE MY OLD MAN STILL CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW I PULLED THIS OFF! LOL SINCERELY ONE VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER! CHRIS More

I purchased my first car from McCloskey and found the experience a bit above average compared to other delarships I have done business with. I appreciate them knowing my time was valuable and following experience a bit above average compared to other delarships I have done business with. I appreciate them knowing my time was valuable and following up with card and phone call after the sale. I don't have buyers remorse with the deal I received as I had done my homework and feel that I got what I paid for. Thom was honest with me when I asked about the origin of the vehicle, when he could have evaded the question. My initial contact was by email and the salesman was waiting form me at my appointment time. More
TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, DISGRACE. This is the absolute WORST dealership I have ever worked with. I rarely take the time to comment on service, professionalism, quality of product, etc. however McClosky has don dealership I have ever worked with. I rarely take the time to comment on service, professionalism, quality of product, etc. however McClosky has done such a HORRIBLE job that they should be shut down and McClosky himself should be EMBARRASSED to carry the name of that company. They sold us a used vehicle that has been in the shop every 3-4 months over the last couple of years and an extended warranty that is good for absolutely nothing. Their service is horrible, nobody listens and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. They are confrontational, rude, and never work on solving your problem, only making excuses. If you're looking for a car - new or used - look elsewhere. You might pay less at McClosky upfront but I promise, you'll regret it in the long run. More
