McCombs Ford West - Service Center

I tried scheduling an appointment for an oil change. McCombs Ford West does not accept oil change appointments. So on a Tuesday morning, I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. The so call McCombs Ford West does not accept oil change appointments. So on a Tuesday morning, I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. The so called “Quick Lane” (service while you wait) estimated time was 4 hours. Nice young man that was checking in vehicles for service told me he’s put me in the system and I’d be in the queue when I returned in four hours. When I returned and checked back in they told me there were 3 vehicles ahead of me so it would be 45 minutes before my car would be serviced. It was 75 minutes before my car began service. There were only 4 of the 8 bays being used, so it’s obvious that the dealership service department is understaffed. McCombs Ford West needs to let customers schedule oil change services or be able to provide a quick service experience. More

Worst service ever. Over 2 hour wait, when my car was done, they called me on phone instead of coming out the door to tell me my car was ready (they came out to tell other customers). Adrian was rude and acted as if it was beneath him to help anyone. After I paid, he gave me the sticker to put on my windshield….what the actual &$(;)? There is no feeling quite like people making you feel like your are nothing more than an inconvenience to them. It was clearly too much to ask them to put the sticker on my windshield or for someone to come outside to let me know my car was ready. McCombs Ford has lost a once loyal customer for life! More

I took my truck to service dept to get A/C diagnosed. Was told I needed a new expansion valve. Warranty covered the repair and I got charged just the deductible. The problem is my A/C compressor clutch still told I needed a new expansion valve. Warranty covered the repair and I got charged just the deductible. The problem is my A/C compressor clutch still cycles on and off every 10 seconds. I’ve been back 4-5 times. One of those times they told me my recirculation motor was the issue however other auto shops told me that it has nothing to do with the cycling of my A/C clutch. Also my cooling fans stay on as soon as I start the truck and stay on anytime I have the A/C on. It’s sounds so loud. The last time I picked up my truck I was again told nothing is wrong with it. Still dealing with the same issue. Not satisfied with the service department. I do not recommend this place More
