We've always had our vehicles serviced at McDonald and the service team has always done an outstanding job. We started our new car search with an open mind and visited Mercedes, Acura and BMW. Frankly, while we could have purchased any of those vehicles, the tipping point for us was the Hyundai warranty (twice as long as the others) and the sales staff. Our salesman was David Cunningham who took a relaxed, no nonsense approach to showing us the models we were interested in. No pressure and very informative. We feel the price and trade in value we arrived at was fair and simple to negotiate. We can't wait to take delivery of our new Hyundai. More

2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Purchased First off, I hate car shopping. No offense to Jeff and those at McDonald Hyundai that helped out but like buying a house I feel it takes an inefficien First off, I hate car shopping. No offense to Jeff and those at McDonald Hyundai that helped out but like buying a house I feel it takes an inefficient amount of time to close the deal with an inordinate amount of signatures and unnecessary forms/request for information. So, I did my research on cars on the internet and decided on which one I wanted through the USAA car buying service with a 'guaranteed savings'. I even went through the pre-approval process for financing hoping to speed up the process at the dealer. Corey was very courteous and prompt responding to my online queries and questions regarding their inventory in stock and setting up a time to go in to do a test drive. Jeff helped to complete the sale since Corey was assisting someone else when we got there earlier than our appointed time. Other than the Base MSRP, in the end, nothing else really matched up. The "USAA certified dealer MSRP discount" varied by $1000 when I finally got my purchase agreement and the total sales price did not include the optional dealer accessories (as it did on USAA's estimates) roughly another $1000. Taxes and fees also weren't included in my USAA estimated dealer price so I get that the ~$1000 variance could have been there and that all prices were subject to vary 'depending'. Anyhow, while I know I could walk away at any time, Shortline & Arapahoe Hyundai both had the same vehicle and I had the same or similar 'guaranteed savings', the prospect of repeating the same painful process elsewhere, with yet another sales team and wasting yet another 4 - 5 hours of my life/time meant I stuck it out despite seriously considering at the 3rd hour to do so. I completed the deal (Rune in finance was very thorough and knows his job well!) and I walked out with the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. Just note bottom line or total cost is what matters (the rest just distracts from that number) and that if you go through USAA that 'dealer MSRP discount' and TRUECar estimate will not necessarily match up with what the dealer writes up on your purchase agreement. It is your prerogative to call them on it but its in the fine print regarding estimated values. Also, if you want a down payment larger than they are able to process on credit, save yourself a return trip and bring in a bank/personal check. Needless to say, I test drove the two vehicles I looked up and walked out with one. However, as I have only had the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe less than a day for approximately 15 miles (before I get the email to do this review), I doubt I'm qualified to comment on the quality and reliability of the car other than its been purchased and its sitting in the garage. Ask me again when its had 30k+ or 100K plus miles! That said, the Santa Fe drives comfortably and has some great features, many of which I don't care if its on it or not (since I view cars as functional tools to get me from A to B). It is indeed the car I researched and wanted, and as of day one can report is in working order. More

The staff mentioned below were instrumental in assisting me in the purchase of this car. They gave me a test drive, and not just a short one. Then they wanted to see my trade-in, which was a 2013 Genesis coupe, track model, for a trade-in value. I told them what deal I wanted and they met that deal. I didn't decide to take the deal until the next day. When I returned to make the purchase, the staff had everything prepared, especially the new car. It was spotless. The whole deal took about 2 hours and I left with the new car that I wanted. It is a fantastic car. Go Hyundai!! More

So friendly and so helpful. One of them even let me use his phone charger. They went above and beyond to make the whole experience less stressful.
