The actual service was very good. I had asked about a missing panel, and Caroline was able to get a new one ordered for no cost. I have not heard back on the status of the part. I've always had great service with Toyota. However my last visit was not up to par. I as given a estimate time of an hour. It took an hour and a half. I had to go find someone. When they were done I as told everything was fine. But it wasn't . The rear brake we marked caution and the filters were marked critical. In past, I've gotten a call and was asked if it wanted them replaced. If I had gotten that call I would have said yes. I had to text this morning for more information. I was told the brakes are ok for now and the filters can replaced next service. Critical filters for 5000 miles doesn't sit right with me. We have had an issue with the Service Tech we worked with before. I will continue to use McDonald Toyota. They have always been good to us and have done a good job. I hope this last service is a one time 'issue'. Thank you More

Trying to get updates or ahold of someone in the service department is like pulling teeth from an alligator. I took my truck in for routine 85000 mile service and water pump replacement. The belt that was ordered or came with the water pump was the wrong one. My truck sat there overnight. Fri morning around 10, I recieve a call and was told my brakes were below specs. I said to go ahead and do them. I get a call at 2 to come and get my truck. The brakes were not done. My truck basically sat there for an extra day for no apparent reason.. I wanted to talk to the service manager but he wasn't there. Left my number, but he never called. He did leave a message that stated " I know you called the brake work off we recommended, but to show our appreciation, we are offering free brake pads if I cover the labor." I called and left a meesage but he never called me back. Apparently he knows somebody screwed up, but won't admit it. I want to know why and how this happened and nobody will talk to me. Once again, my truck sat there from Thursday to Friday without anything being done. Now I have to take it back in for another half day for the brakes. I just want somebody of importance to call me back and explain things. Especially about how I supposedly called off the brake work when it was somebody from McDonald Toyota that actually did.
