You can tell when people love what they do I was recently in the market for a used luxury sedan. I went to several dealerships, including one that supposedly has a "One customer at a time" phil I was recently in the market for a used luxury sedan. I went to several dealerships, including one that supposedly has a "One customer at a time" philosophy - where I was told that I "should not come in on a Saturday because that was the salesman's busiest day". Two others never followed up with me although I took the time to test drive models available in their showrooms. I should disclose that I am female, I am a reasonable person and just wanted a nice car to replace my mommi-van. Hesitantly, I reached out to McDonald Volkswagen to inquire about a vehicle they had online. I received a response from Silke in under 60 minutes. I made arrangements to see the car in a few days. Meanwhile, she investigated the history and sent me as much information as she could about the car. When I arrived, she had the car ready for me to test drive. Silke is German and loves, loves, loves her Volkswagens, but she was never pushy about it. She was honest and open about the status of the vehicle, but at no time did I feel pressured into my decision. Her manager was an affable guy who assisted her with technical questions but was helpful and not a hindrance to the process. I feel like they were a good team and you can tell they both love what they do. I would love to bring my kids here when they are ready to purchase their first car. If you need a car and like being treated respectfully, I would recommend a trip to McDonald Volkswagen. More
