Bill's Excellent VW Adventure I drifted into the dealership with the intent to look, browse, perhaps discuss the purchase of a Tiguan so I can commute in order to ski this winter. I drifted into the dealership with the intent to look, browse, perhaps discuss the purchase of a Tiguan so I can commute in order to ski this winter. I have a TDI Jetta, purchased prior to my relocation to Denver, that I need either to have VW adjust, or to trade in for a new vehicle. I have had 4 Jettas, and other VW's back to the early 1970's. I had called ahead and was to meet with Silke Refior. Directly, she met me and we sat to discuss what I was seeking in the way of a car: 4-wheel drive; maneuverability; a safe operating auto. We looked at the cars in the showroom and the Alltrack caught my eye. I drove the Tiguan: Not to my liking. The Alltrack was much more attractive to me, but a bit expensive for me. She worked with the Sales group to obtain a price improvement such that we shifted quickly to buying that vehicle. Before I left, I bought that 2017 showroom model for a price I can manage. Part of my need then was to work to complete the trade-in of my 2010 TDI Jetta. She has been extremely helpful in the completion and submission of my application to VW. More
