Straightforward and personable Found the car I wanted online and within 2 minutes of sending my inquiry was contacted by McDonald Volkswagen Sales Consultant, Stephen Slater who was Found the car I wanted online and within 2 minutes of sending my inquiry was contacted by McDonald Volkswagen Sales Consultant, Stephen Slater who was prepared to answer any questions I had and set up a time to test drive the vehicle. When I arrived at the dealership a few days later, Stephen took a few minutes to get a better idea of what I was looking for and what it was about the vehicle I'd picked out that made me want to test drive it. During the test drive, Stephen was very pleasant and personable, telling me about the car while also building a relationship with sincere small talk. The car was in excellent condition and very clean. It had all of the features I'd been looking for and was a great price. Back at the dealership, I told him I was on a bit of a time crunch as I had an appointment in an hour but definitely wanted to talk numbers. Stephen was straightforward about what he could do on numbers and respected my limited time. There was no back and forth. He immediately got me to an out the door price I could handle. I told him I would think about it over my hour-long appointment and let him know. After my appointment, I contacted Stephen to let him know I was on my way back to the dealership prepared to pay and sign papers. When I returned to the dealership, Stephen had already set the buying process in motion knowing I was still tight on time. I really appreciated how respectful he was of my time (read: efficient!) and very personable at the same time. The finance process was quick and pleasant. Jim was friendly, personable and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He took time to answer every question I had but also respected my time by going through the required paperwork as efficiently as he could. Overall, the staff was very friendly, personable and respectful of my time. Sales Consultant, Stephen Slater was straightforward, helpful and a pleasure to work with. Professional, efficient, friendly and patient The service area is exceptionally clean and bright. With an appointment there was no waiting with prompt attention. The service representative( Doug Brown) was knowledgeable patient and friendly. The waiting area was clean, well lit with the usual amenities (Wi-Fi and TV) and an attended snack bar plus a monitor of the mechanics service area where you can watch your vehicle being serviced. After the mechanic was finished with his initial inspection, he sent me a HD video of his inspection of my car on the lift with his commentary as he proceeded around the car. I found this especially informative as most customers rarely get to inspect their car while on the lift. At check out the service representative reviewed the service check list with me. When I mentioned I wanted the AC checked as well, he immediately brought in a mechanic to measure the outlet temperature within minutes. In total my 40000 mile service took less than two hours. In all I am very satisfied with my service experience at McDonalds VW. More
