Today I purchased a pre-owned VW from McDonald Volkswagen and the experience was excellent. Tanner Fiftal was knowledgeable of the brand, the car, and very helpful with my purchase experience. I’ve owned a lot of cars over the years and I just love the GTI. This one is no exception. Thanks for a great buying experience. More
We worked with Chaney Moore on the early lease disposition of our Atlas and a new lease on a 2023 ID.4. I would run out of superlatives if you gave me enough time - Chaney was fantastic. There was disposition of our Atlas and a new lease on a 2023 ID.4. I would run out of superlatives if you gave me enough time - Chaney was fantastic. There was none of the usual car dealer nonsense - we were quickly able to reach a deal that made sense for my family and (presumably) for McDonald VW as well. The new facility is fantastic. I'd happily recommend anyone I know to visit Chaney and the McDonald team for a new vehicle. More

Buyer Beware: Purchasing a Certified Preowned vehicle from McDonald VW doesn't mean the vehicle is in good working condition. I purchased a certified preowned Atlas from McDonald at the end of August from McDonald VW doesn't mean the vehicle is in good working condition. I purchased a certified preowned Atlas from McDonald at the end of August (with 27k miles) and by the middle of October, my brakes sounded terrible and were making a metal on metal noise. I was told by a VW dealership in Colorado Springs that all 4 rotors and brake pads needed to be replaced due to significant heat damage and wearing. This dealership agreed it was nearly impossible to do this kind of damage in 6 weeks of use and less than 1,000 additional miles on the vehicle. I reached out to the business managers that we worked with previously, Sam and Cory Lyons and the salesman that sold me the vehicle, Chaney Moore to hopefully shed some light on the issue and potentially pay for the repairs that their service department missed. Despite emails, letters, and texts from Chaney advising I could reach out at anytime with any issues, he ignored my calls and texts. Sam and Cory Lyons ignored my email and passed us off to another manager. This manager offered no assistance and provided a useless anecdote. Additionally, this group touts the fact they are veterans, yet sold a vehicle with failing brakes to a military family, and once advised of this error, took zero action to even attempt to remedy the situation.
