Complete & Total Cluster I've been coming to McDonough Nissan for service ever since I bought my car there and have seen the competence and quality of work drop exponentially. I've been coming to McDonough Nissan for service ever since I bought my car there and have seen the competence and quality of work drop exponentially. In this particular instance, I brought my car in for a 15K service, an alignment, and several other recommended checks. Everything was going fine until 10 days later, several indicator lights came on at once and the car began downshifting randomly and suddenly. I drove it to McDonough Nissan to have it checked out and it turned out that entire transmission needed to be replaced. You would think that any tech worth their salt would see something, particularly if a transmission was failing, in what is supposed to be a comprehensive and expensive assessment. Well, they gave me a loaner and told me it could be as quick as the next day they could get it back to me. Not only did I not receive any updates, when they did finally say it would be ready I drove down there just to find it wasn't and it wouldn't be ready until the next day. When it was finally "ready" I drove it home only to experience teeth-chattering screeches coming from the axel. I returned to McDonough Nissan to get it fixed. They checked it out, said the "fixed" it. I drove it home - same issue! At this point, Bryon, the service manager stepped in. It took another loaner car but he finally got the car fixed properly. It was notable that once Bryon took ownership of the issue, the communication dramatically improved. However, this experience not only soured my trust in McDonough Nissan Service, I doubt very strongly that I will ever return to buy a car from them. More

Fast and Friendly I came in to have my tires rotated and balanced. The service was fast and the service advisor “Keysha Price” was especially helpful. Service Paid for service oil change and tire rotation. They did not rotate my tires. Came with low tire pressure and left with the same tire low in pressure. Paid for service oil change and tire rotation. They did not rotate my tires. Came with low tire pressure and left with the same tire low in pressure. Had to turn back around for them to do what I originally paid and waited for. Only for them to offer a free oil change. I doubt the guaranteed service checks like checking tire threading etc was done. Disappointed that I have to double check behind work that is paid for. More

Walking to charge key phob Jerry was consciousness of my time. I work 3rd shift and arrived at 7:00am to get my key phobia charged and had some concerns about my transmission. He followed up with service department and tech and kept me informed. During wait he kept me posted and educated me on additional equipment on my Altima that I wasn't aware of. I love the free car wash at the end of service. My experience was very pleasant. More
