I'm very sorry to hear you had a bad experience and I apologize for any miscommunication. What I understand from the situation. You came in on the Pre-Owned Rav4. The vehicle had some scratches on it that did not show in the photos. You expressed concern on scratches and we agreed with you. We adjusted the price because of the scratches. You left the dealership and decided not to buy it. Then you came back and decided the adjustment was fair and you purchased the vehicle. You also signed a copy of the autocheck prior to completing the final paperwork. We have all customers sign the autocheck - so it is full disclosure and they know if an accident occurred. Every autocheck is also displayed on our website under each Pre-Owned vehicle for full disclosure. We are a one price store that tries to be as transparent as possible. Thank you for your reply. This was the end to a very frustrating experience. It started with trying to get an appointment. I called to book an appointment and was told it was 'confirmed' by Kelly. I was also told that they would call me if the car was sold, even though she never took my phone number. I called the day of the appointment and was told that the car was still available by Beau. He said he would call to confirm before he left at 4:30p that day, but never did. The AutoCheck was given to my wife while I was in the bathroom. I noticed the three owners but not the accident. There was a BIG assumption that took place by Amed. The salesman, Amed, should have verbally gone over the report, at which time EVERYONE would have been told that the car was in an accident. This was a MAJOR mistake. It was also a negative that we only got ONE KEY to the vehicle. You should have given two, even if it cost you a few bucks. The final negative was with the financial officer. I asked if the car had a full tank of gas. He stated that McGee Toyota only puts a full tank of gas in NEW cars and don't offer that for USED car sales. Give me break! I've never bought a car and left the lot without a full tank of gas. You need to treat used car sales like new car sales. Overall, McGee Toyota came across as a VERY disorganized dealership that had deceptive overtones and didn't treat the customer like a valued part of the process. You didn't fully clean the car, as my wife and daughter complained of a smell that caused my wife to have a headache by the time she got home. I'm having my mechanic go over the car top to bottom, largely because I don't trust what was told to me. I'm also having the car fully detailed to get rid of the smell. This $500 expense shouldn't have been necessary. On top of that I have to pay my local Toyota dealer $160 for another key! That's how bad the total transaction was. You need to do better if you're going to earn anyone's business in the future. You lost mine.
