How Hyundai and Bill Landine went the extra mile I purchased a Hyundai Elantra GT recently. The primary sales representative was William Ladine. There were several issues that needed to be resolved i I purchased a Hyundai Elantra GT recently. The primary sales representative was William Ladine. There were several issues that needed to be resolved in order to meet my needs as a customer, while at the same time satisfying Hyundai. I had less than stellar credit, was putting no money down, trading in a Chevy Sonic less than a year old,(and 5 years remaining on the contract) and a Chevy Malibu more than 6 years old with 150,000 miles on the odometer. Mr. Landine called several banks. Solutions were provided that did not work for me, (Mostly they did not want the year old Chevy Sonic to be a part of the deal) Suggestions I made were not permissible by the banks. Most dealers and dealerships would have given up at some point and sent us on our way. But Mr. Landine simply refused to give up. After several hours, we were weary & ready to leave but he wanted us to stay while he and his finance team crunched numbers and worked with their bank contacts. Finally a workable solution was hammered out that made sense to me and to Hyundai. We drove away that night in a brand new Elantra GT with a payment plan that was sensible to my wife and I; one that will not be a undue financial burden for us going forward.( and they took both of my other cars as a part of the deal) I was exceptionally impressed by the hard work and extra mile Mr. Landine and his team were willing to go for a sale which probably does not significantly increase their bottom line. But just to make something good happen for a customer today. Its a quality automobile with a lot of customer centric features. If you are within driving distance of Route 2 Hyundai and need a new car, (or used) You'd really be doing yourself a big favor to go and check it out and ask for Mr. William Landine. Good things will happen for you. More
