I just bought a Mazda CX-30 from McGrath Mazda and it was a long and arduous process. I first contacted McGrath via consumer reports and was promptly contacted by Maggie Sitko, who was the internet specialis a long and arduous process. I was doing a lot of research on the car and finally decided to come in to the dealer. I was not looking forward to going to the dealer. However, Maggie introduced me to Delia Peralta, Salesperson extraordinaire, and felt no pressure from Delia to buy right away. I wanted to do a test drive initially. I test drove with my wife a Mazda 3 and did not fall in love with the car. She wanted the CX-30 and fortunately McGrath had the trim we wanted. I would have bought the Mazda 3, but CX-30 is the same auto but higher version for Mazda sub-compact SUV. We left the dealership and ruminated on the choices we wanted. We were still unsure and visited other dealerships and realized McGrath was the best dealership for us. We made another appointment with Delia and Maggie and were ready to buy when we came back. Unfortunately, we had a speed bump and left the dealership. Delia was cordial and patient with us and waited for us to call her back. I wanted to reach out to McGrath Mazda general manager, Brad Schreckenberg, about my disappointment to walk out when I was ready to buy. Brad immediately responded to my e-mail and gave me a better offer. I texted Delia two days later and she responded immediately and told me that Brad had told her about his offer. Delia was just waiting for me to respond. She wanted to come in as soon as possible so I could buy my CX-30. I came back on Halloween morning, negotiated a deal of a lifetime, and was the happiest trick-or-treater ever. I have been looking for a auto, since January. Firstly, I never thought I was going to buy a Mazda. I went the route of Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Hyundai, and Kia My experience with Mazda made me happy. Secondly, I never thought I was going to buy a CX-30. I was going through consumer report and CX-30 was on the bottom of the list. But, I gave the car a chance. The HP, luxurious technology, and aesthetics convinced me to buy this car. Thirdly, find Delia Peralta. She is your next car salesperson. You do not have to like her. Her integrity, transparency, and enthusiasm made me feel good to buy from her. I sound like a hype guy and this might sound suspect but this is my first and only time I enjoyed buying car. I dreaded looking for a car. I was realistic that I had to listen to salesperson pitch and I was ready to negotiate. I left McGrath Mazda satisfied and that is all any car buyer is looking for in any car buying experience. I tried to do my best to research, prepare, and negotiate.
