My experience with this dealership is more than 5 years ago but still leaves a raw taste when I think of it. I bought a new Toyota RAV 4 in 2007. I knew exactly what I wanted and read out the details t ago but still leaves a raw taste when I think of it. I bought a new Toyota RAV 4 in 2007. I knew exactly what I wanted and read out the details to the sales person (don't remember her name). She assured me that its exactly the same. One of the options was the daytime running lights. The following week after purchase, I realized that the lights don't turn on. I called the sales person. She assured me that it should be on and that I could go to any Toyota service center to get it fixed. When I took it in, they looked up the VIN and told me that the model does not have the DRL option installed. I called the sales person back. she would not come to the phone and I left a detailed message. Further repeated attempts to reach her were of no use. I called the manager and he claimed that I was lying, that the model I bought was one without this option. I left it there as it was not worth pursuing a $40 option further. But, their after sales treatment stays with me as one of my worst experiences ever. Never will I visit this dealership again. More

Tony introduced me to a Salesman named Steven Salidas. – This is when my wonderful journey started. Steven asked me all the perfect questions, always putting my needs , wants , and budget first. He listened to all my input with total interest and consideration. NO pressure, NO Hassel , just genuine honesty and sincerity and a true sense of caring to help me choose a car that I really liked and one that would suit me and one that I could afford… Steve is a “One of a Kind” Gentleman”. He was extremely patient and understanding answering all of my many questions while explaining every detail. He was amazing. Steven took the time to go to his boss Jim Magnelli to ask about the extra things I wanted my car to have. Jim was another excellent example of what Elmhurst Toyota is all about. Jim personally sat down with me to go over everything of concern to me. Detailing dollars, numbers, payments and anything I needed to make my “Wish List” complete. You can say, well that’s their job to sell a car but - their customer relations are extraordinary. I liked the fact that both Steven and Jim spoke with admiration about each other and also great words of respect and praise for their owner Kurt Schiele who makes sure that every customer leaves the showroom with exactly what they wanted. My impression was “What a Happy Working Family” … I purchased my dream car thanks to Steven and Jim. Bless you both. I am so very happy with my Toyota Camry.
