He was extremely polite I was lucky enough to have CJ Juanico be my first contact at McGrath St. Charles, when I went to look at the hybrid Insight. He was extremely polite and very genuine in all of our conversations. He is also very knowledgeable, and was able to demonstrate the features of the Insight with competence (and patience for my lack of knowledge!). His follow up over the next few days was equally respectful, with excellent communication on any and all of my questions. His helpfulness and integrity were big factors in my decision to buy the car. Found a car we really liked and thought Luis the sales person was dealing with us fairly. He committed to a firm price both in writing and in person and then put us in front of a shark named Max that gave us the classic dealership treatment. Why can't these guys evolve?? First we noticed body damage that they failed to disclose. Then they added $1,000 to the firm price and over $2,000 in "accessories" to the deal. We walked out angry and frustrated over the amount of time and energy we wasted. Honda makes great cars but they really need to evolve their sales process into the the 21st century. More

Trading in my Toyota I was impressed with the McGrath Honda of St. Charles, Jose Barrera- our sales rep in particular. Unlike many of the dealerships we exhaustingly visi I was impressed with the McGrath Honda of St. Charles, Jose Barrera- our sales rep in particular. Unlike many of the dealerships we exhaustingly visited, Jose was not full of himself and conducted himself as a professional. He did not make false promises and eventually came through with everything we were looking to have with our new auto. I went in looking for a used vehicle, and came out with a new auto. (spending as much money as I thought I would have to for a used) I also appreciated the fact that they took the time to tell me who to ask for in the service area, so we were not just a passing thought for a quick sale. Most Dishonest Place on Earth! Recently bought a 2018 Odyssey here. The van said it had 95% oil life remaining, but the oil didn't look great on the dipstick. I decided to change it, and it was the worst oil I have ever seen drain out of an engine (been changing oil for 20 years). Not only are their sales practices dishonest, but also the service. There is NOTHING good about this dealer. Find another! More
Wow.....Just wow. From the second I walked in I knew this dealership was going to be a great one. No one came rushing over and attacking me like car dealerships normally do. Instead David Kolinen walked up to me introduced himself and said if I need anything to let him know. I was able to walk around the lot without two or three people watching me and waiting to pounce. Once I found a couple of cars I wanted to see I spoke with David and without hesitation he grabbed all the keys for me and out we went. David was very knowledgeable about the cars and the features before we even opened the door. A+ for that David. Once I decided on the car I wanted David and his team went above and beyond to help me in any way possible. The process was quick and friendly the entire way through. Needless to say if I ever need a new car I will definitely be back. Thank you guys. More

Used car manager and internet manager lack basic communicati Called today 5 times myself to work out some details to by my wife a car. Then my wife spoke with them 3 times and the final conversation was please h Called today 5 times myself to work out some details to by my wife a car. Then my wife spoke with them 3 times and the final conversation was please have car cleaned and ready, because we are short on time and in addition we had an hour and half drive, they said no problem. We filled out the online financial paperwork and guess what when we showed up they showed us the fairly priced vehicle. This is where everything went bad. 1. Car was filthy. Their excuse was they didn’t get communication from Sherri that we where coming in. Even though we made it very clear to Sherri we were and she confirmed she would let the manager know. 2. We asked Sherri to look over the vehicle and make sure it was in good shape before we made the drive. She insisted it was only to find out upon arrival the front driver side tire was very low on air, both rear doors trim was busted at clips and fallen off, and the back trunk door was rusting on a 3 year old vehicle. 3. We spoke with the manager Alex who assured us he could clean it up and fix the things quickly. He took the car in the shop while we waited hour and half. Pulled it back out and said look at it again. They did nothing but put air in the front tire that was low. Car still filthy, clips still busted because they had none in stock, and no touch up paint done like promised to cover rust spots. At this point I got my kids, from the kids room and left with my wife. 4. We get in car and Alex the manager walks to our car only and says he is sorry. We explain they haven’t done anything in the 2 hours we where there, but put air in tire. He said he could fix it. We said we are good. What he does next is what kills me. He then says “ well sorry I should of gave you a different sales person because she could of done a better job handling this.” He was referring to a sales girl who had nothing to do with Sherrie or Alex mistakes. It’s a shame that the McGrath family employees a manager that puts a Car on the lot for sale that’s filthy and has obvious broken items on it. Then has the nerve to blame his poor sales girl because he and his internet lady Sherri couldn’t do their jobs. As I was in the middle of explaining that to him he literally turned his back and walked away. So the 2016 Honda Pilot with 45,000 miles white Beige interior look it over before you buy it. More
