JACK WAS MORE A PARTNER IN THE PROCESS RATHER THAN AN EMPLOYEE OF MCGRATH HONDA. HIS ATTITUDE WAS SO POSITIVE AND REFLECTED THE PRIDE HE TAKES IN HIS WORK. WHEN THE CAR I WANTED WAS NOT AVAILABLE, HE EMPLOYEE OF MCGRATH HONDA. HIS ATTITUDE WAS SO POSITIVE AND REFLECTED THE PRIDE HE TAKES IN HIS WORK. WHEN THE CAR I WANTED WAS NOT AVAILABLE, HE ASSURED ME THAT HE WOULD GET IT AND HAVE IT READY ON THE FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY. A MAN OF HIS WORD, JACK CALLED ON WEDNESDAY TO SAY THAT THE CAR WAS IN AND READY FOR ME TO COME AND GET IT. HE SPENT A LOT OF TIME PATIENTLY EXPLAINING ALL THE NEW AND WONDERFUL FEATURES OF MY NEW CIVIC AS WELL AS THE SERVICE OPTIONS THAT WERE AVAILABLE. WHEN THE CAR WAS BROUGHT UP FRONT, I THINK HE WAS AS EXCITED AS WE WERE! (IT IS A GREAT LOOKING VEHICLE. MY WIFE'S LEASE ON HER 2011 CR-V WILL BE UP AT THE BEGINNING OF DECEMBER. SHE ALREADY TOLD JACK THAT SHE WANTS THE 2014 VERSION OF THE EXACT SAME CAR SHE HAS NOW. I went there along w itch my wife and kids to buy a Honda odyssey today at 7pm. I was in the front office for 5 minutes before someone came to greet..said someone will attend to us and he excused himself...w odyssey today at 7pm. I was in the front office for 5 minutes before someone came to greet..said someone will attend to us and he excused himself...waited for 10 minutes before someone came asking if I was waiting for mike..I said I am waiting for someone to show me the vehicle, he walked off..then after a couple of minutes, a guy came introducing that he was the general manager and he will send someone to help us...none came...after around 10 minutes of wait, I walked towards a sales person and he asked me if I was waiting for Eric..when I asked if anyone will be able to help me..he said that they were short of people and are busy.. I only saw a couple of people sitting there for trading their vehicle...it was pathetic that I had to walk out after waiting there for close to 30 minutes..I will never go there and will not recommend them...I do not know how these guys are still in business... Saw a great car on the lot on sunday. My first experience was with Nikki online, thorough, helped move me to the next step. I fell in love with the car, had to have it! The price we agreed on was a fair one. Nick helped complete the transaction. I'm a happy camper! Being a woman and going into a dealership can be intimidating. I was treated with respect and fairness. My husband came with me in the evening to pick up the car, we were offered a fair price for our trade-in. I would highly recommend McGrath! Nice job, guys! And I LOVE this car! More
This is the third vehicle we have purchased from McGrath and each time it has been a great experience. Tony Kashif was very gracious and spent a lot of time explaining the features of the navigation system and each time it has been a great experience. Tony Kashif was very gracious and spent a lot of time explaining the features of the navigation system helping me determine that these were features that I will be able to use. The entire purchase process was transparent. Their price for the vehicle and options either matched or were lower than competing dealers. Tony's and Carlos' professional approach to purchase discussion made this a fast, easy and pleasant experience. It actually took my wife and I longer to select the color of CR-V we wanted than to agree on a purchase price. The other reason that I am writing this recommendation is because of excellent service we have received from the service department. The service staff gets the work done correctly and at the time promised. They recommend only maintenance you need or should do to keep your Honda running properly. From the sales staff to the service department, the people at McGrath Honda of St. Charles put a lot of effort into making customer service a priority. More
After having my car at other shops that could not find my problem TJ went out of him way to make sure my car was fixed correctly and kept me informed the whole time. My wife and I took my 2013 Honda Pilot in because it was shaking when the car got up to 70MPH. When i went in TJ Taylor told me since the Illinois law is 60 MPH all he can do is balance the tires and make s shaking when the car got up to 70MPH. I still decided to leave the car there and have them at least make sure the balance was good. I called two hours later and was told the car was ready. I picked it up and two days later was on the highway and same thing again, felt the vibration on the steering wheel at 70MPH. I decided at this time i will call the Schaumburg Honda and have them take a look. But before i did that i happened to be at my other mechanics place getting my other car oil changed, and i told him about my Honda issue and told him what they supposedly did at the dealers. My wife was picking me up and he looked at the wheels and told me off the bat that nothing had been done. The original weights when car rolled of the line were still on the car. The next day my wife went to Schaumburg Honda and they took a look at the car, they confirmed that nothing had been done to the car. The balance was off. Schaumburg Honda actually even test drove the car and took it up to 90 MPH and when my wife told him what McGrath Honda had told her, he said that's BS and they are suppose to always test drive the car whenever they do wheel work! I will never ever trust McGrath dealers again! More

I brought a brand new 2013 Honda civic EX. There price was really good. Bout they took to long to do our paperwork. We were expecting to get done by 4:00 pm. But we got done at 8:00 pm. I shopped my trade-in, a 2004 Odyssey, to lease a 2013 new Odyssey at four dealers to see where I would get the best price. McGrath's initial offer was literally hundreds of dollars worse per month than new Odyssey at four dealers to see where I would get the best price. McGrath's initial offer was literally hundreds of dollars worse per month than every other dealer I visited. When I balked at their offer, they said they could knock it down a couple of dollars per month, which was still a much worse deal than I was offered everywhere else. When I balked again, they asked me to place a deposit on a vehicle and come back the next day. In short: bad prices, gamesmanship, and pressure tactics. Why would I want to shop there again? More
