The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

I was directed toward their website in regards to purchasing a new vehicle. I was contacted by an unknown individual who only kept asking when I was coming to look at a vehicle and never addressed my purchasing a new vehicle. I was contacted by an unknown individual who only kept asking when I was coming to look at a vehicle and never addressed my question to the discounted price I clicked online titled, "additional saving" When asked about this the response given was " the price online would be the price you pay. When did you want to test drive now or later today? I find deceptive practiced a turn off and lack of communication or people skills the same way when addressing a prospect. I have now reached out to a competitive dealer in regards to purchase. More
