The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

McGrath Honda was great from the moment I reached out to them. I bought a used LR4 they had taken in on a trade. They were very quick to respond and sent me every photo and video I could ask for. Given I live more than 7 hours away their quick communication and willingness to take any and every photo/video I requested was amazing. Logan was great throughout the sales process, zero pressure at all from anyone. If they ever have a vehicle I'm interested in I wouldn't hesitate to fly out and drive it back again. There was no trickery or hidden numbers pulled when finalizing the deal. They made the process smooth and explained every document I was signing and gave me time to review each document before signing. I needed some minor adjustments to some of the documents which was easy and quick. Great overall experience. More
