The Men of McGrath Lexus Westmont I have wanted a Lexus 200h for a few years. Every time I saw one on the street I would stop and enquire with the owner. That day has come and the Men of McGrath Lexus (I'm absolutely sure the women as well but I was aligned to work with the men on this go around) maid my experience comfortable, seamless, and fun! Mel Owens is completely knowledable about the Lexus Brand. Mel confidently walked me through the process of what was going to happen point by point. (ladies, I was alone buying a car and felt at ease!) Mel explained that if the sales process continued past the current night that he would be out of town until the following week. Mel then introduced me to Jeff Walker. Jeff was warm and friendly and assured me that he would aid me with any questions that I may have in the absence of Mel Owens. That made me happy! Once Mel found me the perfect car he in introduced me to Michel Connery, "the Finance Guy"...dun dun dunnnnn! Nope! There was no fear at all with Mr. Connery. I was able to be open and honest with Mike and we were able to structure a payment that fit with in my budget. Tom Christensen greeted me with a warm smile and a stainless steel coffee mug that I am super excited about. My delivery session with Ben Kruchten was informative and fun. We literally could have walked out with both cars in one afternoon except for the fact that they had to locate the cars we wanted. Within 48 hours of getting the details of the cars we wanted, they located them and then had them in the lot cleaned and prepped for us to pick up. The whole experience with the Mcgrath team was excellent, from walking in the door to driving out of the lot, Even the grill cheese that the café made for Daniel, Sandras son, while he waited for us to finish the owner orientation was perfect! I had done quite a bit of research and my expectations for Lexus were high. I would be visiting Audi, Infinity, BMW, and Honda over the weekend but was sure I'd find what I was looking for at Lexus. I had inquired about a particular model online and immediately had a call back, as well as a text and an email from Scott. Great follow up. All expectations were met...until I got to the dealership. Upon walking in the place appeared warm and inviting - the water wall and the cafe were a nice touch. But the people seemed cold and unfriendly. We didn't feel welcome. Even Scott didn't seem too interested in finding us a car that we really wanted. After test driving a couple of bombs, we drove away in disbelief vowing to never return or recommend McGrath Lexus. Amazing to think that just across the street there's a dealership that was excited to see us, work with us and put us in our beautiful new Infinity. Attitude is everything. More
