I was in an accident over the summer and unsure about whether I wanted to fix my car or purchase a new vehicle. After test driving several cars, I feel in love with the Lexus RX 330/350 model and there whether I wanted to fix my car or purchase a new vehicle. After test driving several cars, I feel in love with the Lexus RX 330/350 model and there went the idea of fixing my car. I went to Lexus of Naperville being close to my home, and found the saleman to be very rude and almost sarcastic. He spoke to me as if I was a stupid young girl who had not done her research on cars. Yet I'm 30 and have never had a car payment and spent hours researching if I was going to consider having a car payment for the first time! He had me test drive a Lexus that made an incredibly loud sound once I left the parking lot. I believe there was something wrong with the breaks, but when I returned to the lot and reported the problem, he brushed it off as if nothing was wrong and said I was just being too "sensitive". After this experience, I had a bad taste in my mouth about Lexus in general. Then I made the trip out to McGrath Lexus. I found a model on-line that looked really great and called ahead of time to make sure it was available still. Joe Scala, my salemen, had the car ready for me when I got there...in beautiful condition too. He was very considerate and treated me like a young adult, and spent time explaining all of the positive aspects of owning a Lexus. He worked with me on the price of the car, which I felt was very fair. I also believe if there was a problem with the vehicle that he knew of, he probably would have steered me away from the car and to another one. I have had no problems so far, and believe McGrath works hard to keep their positive reputation and therefore would not sell a car they knew had issues. If I could go back I may have worked a little harder to have the navigation updated, but overall I LOVE the car and appreciated Joe for his assistance! The finance guy, Mike, was also very informative and not pushy. He simply provided the facts and let me make my decision regarding purchasing a warranty or not. In the future, I will be going back to McGrath when I'm looking to upgrade my vehicle. More
