I recently purchased a certified pre-owned 2010 RX 350 from McGrath, and Scott Raymond was my Sales Consultant. Scott was extremely friendly through the entire process, and was not nearly as pushy as I ex from McGrath, and Scott Raymond was my Sales Consultant. Scott was extremely friendly through the entire process, and was not nearly as pushy as I expected most car salesman would be going into the car buying process. Scott was very accommodating to my time as I could not complete the sale until after the dealership was closed on a Saturday. Overall, I had a great sales experience with Scott, and since purchasing the car I have had just as good of an experience with the rest of the staff at McGrath including Jason Ellison in the service department and Kraig in delivery. I was in the market for a second car to use in beautiful california, when I came across the McGrath listing on a 2005 convertible. Greg Luzinski was in contact with me from beginning to end . About two weeks ago I decided to visit Lexus of Westmont to look for a specific type of SUV. I spoke with Scott Raymond over the phone to make the appointment. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to keep the appoi to look for a specific type of SUV. I spoke with Scott Raymond over the phone to make the appointment. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to keep the appointment and rescheduled. When I visited the store the following day I went without my husband who happened to be out of town. Upon meeting me I informed Scott that my husband would be the one that would need to sign off on any paper work before I could purchase a vehicle. Despite what I told Scott he showed me the SUV I was interested in and talked to me about the car. After test driving the car I knew that I wanted to own it and take it home. When I contacted my husband he told me that he wanted to see the car but would not be back in town until Tuesday. When I told Scott this he said that was fine and he would see us then. Unfortunately, we were unable to keep this appointment also and didn't come until the following Wednesday at 5:00pm. Once we were there, Scott immediately took us out for another test drive this time with my husband driving. During the entire time Scott was pleasant, charming, and personable which made us both feel very comfortable. Once we returned to the store negotiations begin. This process was emotional and lengthy because each person saw a different value in the car. Finally after having much dialog and negotiation, we agreed on a deal and purchased the car. What impressed me the most about Scott is that from the time I first contacted him until the end he was very patient and not pushy. He treated both my husband and I with the highest respect and warmth. Scott has an incredible sense of humor that kept me laughing even during the more difficult parts of the negotiations. He listened to us when we spoke and never made us feel like what we were saying didn't matter. I am so pleased that Scott was the person that sold us the car because I had been mistreated by other car salesmen before coming to Westmont. Even Scott's supervisor was pleasant to deal with and had an equally fantastic sense of humor. My experience with Scott was one that I will never forget, because not only was he friendly but extremely intelligent and understanding of my circumstances and my husbands opinions about purchasing a car. Considering the profession that Scott is in, I feel that he tries to deal with his customers as honestly as he possibly can and tries to maintain his integrity by being upfront about things which can be difficult in any sales profession. When I am ready to purchase another car I hope Scott is the person that sales it to me because I know he will work hard to put me in the car that I want. I believe Scott is an asset to Westmont and adds value to the dealership. Thank you for your time. More
