I have purchased many cars over many years. This time was one of the more enjoyable and least stressful, due to Ray. He met me as I entered the showroom, no pressure, no typical car salesman hype. We have used McKenna Audi off and on for several years. I've learned that with them, it's hit and miss. The car is usually there longer than expected and in the past, the repairs were not always even comp I've learned that with them, it's hit and miss. I am used to the "I'm sorry, we'll get right on it and have it ready tomorrow" excuse. I have even had one of my cars returned with the check engine light on. The service advisors are also slow to return calls or will claim they never received a message to begin with. On my last visit, they changed my license plate frames (from a competitor Audi dealership) to theirs without asking or advising. When I called the service advisor to ask why this was done, I was told it is Danny McKenna's policy to do this to every car that comes there and that I was being ridiculous even asking. Ridiculous or not, it is MY CAR, not theirs, to decide what license plate frames I want on it or if I even want one at all. My car should leave the dealer exactly as it came in other than having the service or repair completed. I already have requested that they not wash it because I end up having to take it to the local car wash to get it rewashed due them doing a lousy job. I'll consider going back when Danny McKenna himself comes to my home and changes my frames back to what they were when the car got to them. More

After my visit to McKenna Audi, I know that my next car must be an Audi. My sales person answered all my questions about Audi ownership, took my on a test drive and broke down all the financial aspects cle must be an Audi. Overall I had a great experience, though my car was not detailed as well as I expected (based upon their professionalism) and was not as 'perfect' as I have had others perform at the time I purchase a car. I had been searching the Internet for a used A4 with a Premium Plus Package for a couple of months. I finally found one that peaked my interest at McKenna. I did quite a bit of research on pricing and available cars in Southern CA before contacting McKenna. I hit the ePrice button and Kelly Yim had responded to my request within the hour. We exchanged email and set an appointment for me and my husband to come and test drive. We drove 40 miles to get to McKenna Audi. Kelly was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. He made everything so easy from jumping in the car for the test drive to entertaining our kids while we completed the process and paperwork. I feel that we made a great deal and overall our experience was worth the trip there. We would definitely refer them to our friends. More

This is one of the very few dealerships that I wouldn't recommend shopping at. The sales was fine, but the internet sales manager wasn't very flexible and the CPO service guy was purely rude. The test drive experience and the negotiation process through my sales contact was okay, although both the sales and the service guy was in denial of the engine spin-up noise. The CPO service guy just wasn't receptive to any comment made on the car and became rude and offensive. The obvious choice was to shop else where. More
In 2008, i purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and it has been quite the ordeal. Out of the 20+ cars that i have purchased through out my life, my experiences with Audi Mckenna, with both their sales department and especially the service department have been atrocious. First, on the sales side, i bought a used A6 which i was assured by Damon Leyeba (Used car salesman) that the car was in great condition. To my despair, the car was far from ideal conditions to be driven let alone sold. Within 2 months of buying the car, i was forced to replace all of the break pads and rotors of the car. Throughout the next 4 years of owning the car, the check engine light has never turned off and i feel almost as if the car has spent more time in the garage of Audi service then in my own! In 2010 alone i brought my car to Audi service more then 8 times due to the check engine light which they were never able to find a solution for. Two days ago i brought my car in because the check engine light came on again. I was skeptical to bring it in because they have not been able to properly fix my car for the past 4 years and my extended warranty just expired weeks ago. To Audi's convenience they "finally" found what was wrong with my car and have brought up thousands of dollars worth of damages that they somehow weren't able to find after all these years. I know that everyone will have a different experience with Audi Mckenna, some good, some bad, but i felt that it was necessary to share how i have been 100% scammed throughout my whole experience with this dealership. I implore all those considering Audi Mckenna to choose elsewhere to purchase and service their vehicles. More
