There was a check engine light on when we test drove the vehicle. First we were told it needed a part. Then we were told that it just needed a software update. After picking up the vehicle the check engine vehicle. First we were told it needed a part. Then we were told that it just needed a software update. After picking up the vehicle the check engine light came on about 15 miles down the road. Now the vehicle is in the shop waiting for a back ordered part and nobody knows when it will be available. When I asked for a service ticket showing what they did before we ever picked it up, I was told that a service ticket wasn’t generated because it was an on lot vehicle. This sounds shady. Makes me wonder if they knew the problem was related to a part that was not available and sold it to me anyway. More
