Took Forever To Complete The Paperwork. We drove four hours to buy a specific truck we saw on CarFax. We drove it, liked it, had a few questions before making an offer. Then the problems b We drove four hours to buy a specific truck we saw on CarFax. We drove it, liked it, had a few questions before making an offer. Then the problems began. Jared had to go someplace to find answers which took quite a while. The answers were questionable, like one broken wire was responsible for three dash codes indicating engine light, ABS and emergency brake issues. But, "there is really nothing wrong." It would however cost over $700.00 to replace a whole under dash wiring harness. Hmm. We attempted to get the ABS to work numerous times and the front brakes just locked up and skidded the tires. There was no jack so Jared went to find one. He said he put it in the truck, but when we got home we couldn't find it. Then we made an offer and of course it was rejected out of hand, so we made another one and he dutifully went to the magic man in an office someplace and when he returned it was also naturally rejected. Then we learned that the asking price had already been discounted ahead of time. We didn't like that answer, but really wanted that specific truck for my nephew as his first vehicle. So, we took the one that was in CarFax. Now the real waiting and various paperwork began. Total time at your facility not counting the time it took us to find and pick up a U-Haul car transporter was over five hours. To get everything done, we got to meet two other un-named staff as well as Adam who finally took my credit card and had me sign what seemed like dozens of spots on reams of paper. I know this seems like I am going way overboard complaining, but we left Lake of the Ozarks at seven in the morning and didn't get home till ten in the evening and we knew what car we wanted before we left home. The service records were complete and we got to see everything that had ever been done to the car. Kyle took a lot of time with us even before it was certain we were going to buy anything that day. To be honest, this is the most money I've ever spent on a vehicle, and we tend to drive them until the wheels fall off. This vehicle was fairly priced for its condition (excellent) and today's market, and looks like it will provide us with reliable transportation for a long time. We have one more to replace, and Kyle Fullmer at McClarty Daniel Nissan will be our first stop. More
