First free oil change Bought a certified preowned Nissan Frontier back in June. Check engine light just came on last saturday. Took it in tuesday for scheduled free first Bought a certified preowned Nissan Frontier back in June. Check engine light just came on last saturday. Took it in tuesday for scheduled free first oil change. I asked the service advisor to look at the check engine light and he told me there would be a charge so I told him to forget it. He came out and told me my front alignment was off a bit but for $80, they could fix it. I declined. He then came out and told me the oil change and tire rotation would come to $79. At that point I told him to give me my keys back and I was leaving. He then realized that the oil change should have been free. So I let them change the oil. When the truck was returned to me he told me they looked at the check engine light and cleared it. He told me it was on for a lean condition but visually everything looked good and it was quite possibly due to the gas cap not being tightened. 300 miles on truck and check engine light still is off. More
